Mapp Squad Meeting Thread

Alright everybody. Due to suggestions that we should set up meeting times, I opened this thread so we can decide when to have meetings. We have to decide on a good time for everybody. Weekends always work for me, most weekdays as well. Thing is, I have a big part in my school's play, which ends May 14, so I might not be able to make it to some meetings. Post your suggestions here, and Barb, if you could make this a sticky, that would be much appreciated.

I'm usually avaliable most days since I have lots of free time on my hands so the meeting times shouldn't be too much off a problem to me unless I forget. I should really put the meetings times on my calender. Would we meet in live chat in some kind of Mapp Squad board room that the first person could make?

As far as a particular time every week, well that would be tough for me.  I find out on tuesdays what next week will be.  I might be scheduled any day of the week at any time of the day.  It's not the same every week.  And on days they do not schedule me at The Tower sometimes I call the union hall to find extra work.  I say, go ahead and find a time that works for MOST of us and set it.  Those of us who can make it, will.  If a person is not there once in a while, well no hard feelings, EH?

Indeed. Please guys, PM me with times you want our next meeting to be, preferably within the week.(ending Monday) Then, I'll set something up that will be good for all of us, hopefully.

Anything on the weekend should be good. Maybe 9-12 tomorrow night, that sounds good for me. I think we could make a password for the room.

There's one other thing but it's a bit weird. It's called Skype, and it's where you talk into your microphone (If you have one) and can have a lot of people talking at the same time. But I don't know if we should all hear our voices, even if it is the most efficient way to do it.

Hmmm...I'ne never heard of that. If even if I had a microphone, I'd be reluctant to use it, with security concerns and all.

I am good pretty much all weekend and from 4:20 to 5:30 weekdays (eastern time)

I was in an online fighter pilot squadron for a couple years, we used an app called Roger wilco to talk while playing.  I just used a headset with a mic on it to keep my hands free and it worked well.

Anyways, I'd like to call a meeting for tomorrow night. I want to discuss something that has come up recently, and I'd like to deal with. Tomorrow night for sure, but around what time? 6-10 is good for me.

I know I'm not part of the MAPP Squad but I suggest using MSN...or any IM software....It helped when I was formerly on NDEX....

we need to find out in which time zone everybody lives...

Maybe we should make a map (like this) and put all of our members in their time zones....

And then set a time for a meeting that works for all of us.....

So will I... but keep in mind Daylight Saving Time... For me it says -8, but because of DST it's actually -7 (which means I'll be going to the meeting at 15:00 my time).
