I have one question..

Is the buildings at the 3rd to 4th column of this pic is included in the package? If it is, how come I don't have them?..

The highest of congratulations for the Airport Pack - all that worked on it should be very proud of their achievements (especially Ace & Voltaire).

I do have a question regarding the jets... are the 747s and CRJ's just static at the jetways or do they take off and land as well? Im probably using the wrong runways for staters, but wasnt sure whether they were just props for the jetways or whether they have a function. I do use the KLM 767s and the Air France 737s that fukuda made sometime ago and they take off and land, so it maybe a conflict issue if the 747s and CRJ's are meant to fly.

If someone with some knowledge could please answer it would be greatly appreciated....

muzza: The 747s and CRJs are static props, they don't fly around.

Wonderful pack, we can built modern airport, you've done a soooo great job, love the architecture of the new terminal nad the big boeing are wonderful, the problem of color ... well I don't think it's that much important, the pack is soooo great , thanks for all

mayortim: maybe those are the mysterious lots i showed that have missing buildings or props.

gt6282: those are included in the pack. I am not sure why everyone is haveing so many problems with the pack, it works great for me! Make sure you have all the depandancies are installed, that may be your problem.

I also have a question though...Is there a way to make the lots requirement to be accessable by car go away? After I built my airport I zoned some other areas and when I un-paused the city the "no car zots" showed up and the terminals and jetways went black. I would love to finish building up this city, but I don't want to have to replace the terminals and jetways after everytime I run the city. Does anybody have any suggestions??

i installed all the dependencies it said i needed, i even reinstalled the pack its self, but no luck

nycsc4: ok.. I finally fixed the problem. I have no idea why those buildings are not included on my first and second installation. I just re-download the pack it again (the third time) and installed it on a separate folder. I copied the folder and pasted/replaced the previous folder in the sc4 plugins.

HOLY HIBELOY since when did Sim City airports look so realistic and detailed? I thought you could only plop airports as a single lot? I'm severely tempted to get this game once I upgrade!

Also, just wondering do the little trucks and planes move around? It would be awesome if there was something like a fire truck or bus wandering around the apron

sorry if this is coming a late I haven't been able to get much time on ST because of RL.

I think I have the probable cause for the load failure of the models. As gt6282 spotted out, if you install to a shorter directory it can help. I myself have been experiencing problems with content buried deep in a very long directory. Especially if you have installed your simcity game to a custom directory the total of "#Directory#\Sim City 4\Plugins\Aerospace Consortium\ACB-VLT Terminals & Jets Series 1\Etc." can be too long to load properly.

Ace is there a possibility of having the 747 and CJR prop models seperate from the gate so we can use them as taxiing aircraft as well? Currently the planes are stuck to the jetways and I don't know how to fix this.

Yeah, I PM'd Voltaire solely for the Aer Lingus prop (wanted to lot it in a nice place, since it's out of commission) but he hasn't replied.. yet.

The whole nine yards as props though, it would be awesome.

Kumba was stupid in the way he argued over and over about a small thing but his point was that the JAL was of the wrong colour.

That's a JAL 777-200. 

And this obviously some 747 variant.

Kumba's render isn't of great quality but it is much closer to the real-life colour.

Ah, that sucks, there are a couple local flight schools here in my city, and I've.. somewhat flown before.

I'm hoping to do the whole flight school ordeal when I get old enough and start out working for Westjet, or maybe Air Canada.. not sure yet. I prefer Westjet though, and I like 737's.

Who knows what I'll later decide, or if I'll change my mind, still have 5 years until I'm a legal adult (yeah, I'm 13).

woohoo Ace is back!  Now I won't have to worry about the 777s being the only airport project around and everybody asking me questions and all that...  I'm really looking forward to those hangars!!!  I'm planning to make some myself in the long term...  I'm looking forward to your 737 project!!!  I have a PM from someone who requested a livery for the 737 and contacted me if you want to know.

Ace, a couple things for you to possibly work on:

1. Voltaire said you were working on a "planes-as-separate-props" project, possibly that.

2. Westjet liverys for the 737's, with Winglets (text on winglets is www.westjet.ca I believe)

3. Maybe a FedEx/Purolator livery of 747's or something.

4. Cargo Terminals

5. Walk to the jet 747s/CRJs, and some other walk to the jet pieces.

Just throwing out some ideas.
