Haven't made anything for you guys in a while, so i thought id treat you to somthing a little different, for the first time i have created a stadium from my imagination, it has one stand and the there will be a shallow hill around the rest, notice the detail on the pitch at zoom 5 you will be able to c lucosade bottles, keep of the grass signs on the back of the ad boards and tv microphones doted around the side of the pitch these are just visable in the image below . i have created this because we dont have enough little stadiums in the city so here it is:

Looking very very good, but I would love if you could consider making a version with 2 stands, one on each "long" side of the pitch. just a suggestion

the cricket pitch has been lost .. the millennium stadium has been handed over to 6underground, to try to export it , its been proving a task but we should pull through

ahh shame to hear about the cricket pitch, never mind, hope 6underground gets that finished soon. Franz, I remember that a while ago you were working on St James Park with JEC I know obviously he has left now but will that mayby be finished one day? don't mean to be a pest but as a member of the Toon Army I was really looking foreward to it, but if not never mind, love the work, what are the future plans then???

ill resize my sig later, im on my psp right now,as for plans...it realy depends on how my life starts to pan out, my lifes starting to get a bit buisy, so i have come up with a small possible enjoyable for you solution which i will tell you about later.

Right now that im on the pc lol , what im going to do from now on is instead of releasing stadiums , im going to release stands and other stadium things as rewards, so when you get so many people in your city , you can build onto a field and make it larger and you will end up with a personal stadium for youur city, doing this way should be quicker and less boring for me to get stuff onto the stex and like i said before , a bit more fun for you guys.. tell me what you link, any questions please ask

that sounds like a v.cool idea, perhaps some of thosse stands could be older 1960's & 70's stands with some add one with them haveing been extended/built onto. But love the idea

ok... the easier stuff avaible to unlock will be older terrace stuff.. like standing grand stands and realy dated stuff , and as your city gets bigger, so will your stadium and if you wanted to change the event in your stadium all ud have to do is demolish the pitch and plop the new playing field in, im also thinking of making things like adboards progress , starting with old adboard from the 40's and slowly change with the stadium to modern adboards such as nike . ideas are very very welcome

would you guys start thinking of some bits of stadiums u would like to c as landmarks (not full stadiums tho ) I was thinking the old Twin Towers Of Wembley ? , the east stand of highbury, the Kop from anfield and some other things like that .. remember your requests will most likely be made

You should try the Fratton End (Pompey). It's a fairly common, single tier, end stand design

Also, would you consider sending me the cricket pitch BAT, so I can have a bash at finishing it?

ohh the Milburn Stand at St James pre Expansiona and post, the original was a fairly typical 60s stand the extension well, you know what that did to it.

Working on a couple of ideas for you now. But Franz could i just ask: What kind of 3d program do you use? Your stadiums looke alot more realistic than what authors make fom SC4. Do you have another program or do you just have a special techniuqe in SC4 Bat? I`m asking because I`m very keen on learning it my self as i love stadiums and would like to bring more of them into Simcity

hehe I had to show you guys this .. knocked a few of the dated propes ive been making together .. and i think im getting what i wanted to achive with props for an old looking stadium , its ugly , the pitch is less than perfect . all standing , love it , traditional lol, this is what your stadiums will start of like lol , after a while ull unlock floodlights, then stands with roofing .. then stand of the same size with seating then larger stands , nicer pitches , newer technoligys such as large screens and video adboards.. and when u think your stadium is ready and a real important thing in your city u could start thinking about adding land marks such as the twin towers of wembley.

Do I hear a revival of the Stadium Team? That is definately needed! I have an interest in building stadiums as well and have a project that could use some help getting further off the ground (I've started, but need inspiration).

I would be interested. I've been batting for 4-5 months now and have made probably 8-9 buildings...but have only uploaded 1 to STEX (my first BAT).
