    Shadow_Assassin:Thanks 43.gif
fgottes:Yes, thanks to better selection of bats the city has improved in look.
Mainsborough however seems to be more pro active in tackling its problems than Thames (look at today's update 2.gif)
is it because of Mainsborough's troubled past it is more determined for a better future? who knows 2.gif
The Thames Harbour area is definately in need for regeneration and it seems the whole of the Thamesouth area is turning into slum. Some regeneration projects would be a good idea 29.gif
Thanks for the before and after pics! even for me it is quite interesting to see the changes 44.gif
however (note: the mainsborough metro's map is not finalised yet and still under construction and may be subject to alteration 2.gif)

sharkbait16: thanks for commenting: as for the names... well I pick them up from existing towns in the UK as well as making up some of my own 3.gif
MooMix1: lol, good to know 10.gif
    sloppet:thanks for commenting 44.gif
Nardo69: yes I know, they're taking all the glamour out of the railways 21.gif
    thanks for the comment9.gif
Glenni: looking back now it does seem to have improved 19.gif thanks to a bigger variety of bats 2.gif
    DragonAnime: thanks 44.gif
Simworld 056132:thanks, and welcome to page 27 (already?! 6.gif)
    Superstar:thanks for commenting 44.gif

    Anyway onto today's update...

The latest issue of CCTV magazine (a Thames based magazine) have run an article covering the latest transport developments in Mainsborough.

TommyC352: thanks for your comment 19.gif
fgottes: happy new year 44.gif thanks for mentioning about the stations, both are good stations and i've used Fenchurch street but i dont really have an opportunity to use a bigger station like Charing X 8.gif

Great looking CJ you have here Froggy. Loads of detail in every picture. I have one question for you though, how do you get different trees on the streets in between the street and sidewalk? Is it a mod of some sort? Link me if you can.

I've been a lurker from the very beginning of this CJ. But tonight, I 'd like to say that's one of the most inspiring and realistic CJ I've seen 19.gif

Frogface, I'd like to congratulate you, your Thames is amazing 44.gif The huge sum of details reflects your great skills. Keep it up !

Great update Frogface, Although I do hold some reservations about it...

For one, I think you need is a chinatown gateway like this...

    chinatown.jpg

Not only would this beutify Mainsburough's Chinatown, it would look a little more realistic and also raise the stakes with Thames (capital) seing as both cities are rivals (?).

Also, sorry to be picky, I think that you have used the wrong pedestrian pieces. Personally, I would have used the Sandstone (the lighter option) as I think that the current pedestrian tiles are a little bit garish for the area that they are in.

I hope that I have been of some assistance and I hope that the revellers at Thames' New Year's Celebration's didn't leave too much of a mess after the clock's struck 12:00!

The subway stop Frogface used (in the last update) is the standard ingame stop. As is the monorail station, However, I have a sneeking suspiction that the station used for Merchantsbridge is a French Design?

I missed it before, but I really enjoyed the information and history (and of course the maps 10.gif) of the Mainsborough Metro. The electrified lines look great both through the country and in town--haven't had much opportunity to try them out for myself, but now I really want to. Heck, I want to build my own complex, intertwined rail system every time I visit here 10.gif

I love this CJ. It has a real character, realistic history and it is just amazingly well-designed.
I wonder how could you arrange even the smallest houses to be british style! Also, where didyou get all those models for british houses (apartments, detached houses, rowhomes, and some other victorian w2w buildings)?

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

Every time I visit here (which unfortunately isn't that often) I'm telling myself; why aren't you visiting here more often? It's a great CJ and you know it. So please remember it FFS!

Well, what I'm trying to say is that I love this CJ, but I always forget about it, sorry. I will try to visit more often. *writing the last sentence with a permanent pen at the bottom of the screen*.

    BTW, nice graphics,
