quote>I WAS actually going to call it Thameslink 18.gifbut that didn't sound very original so i mixed up Crossrail and Thameslink and so there we have it! 9.gif

Looks very nice, but in the last pice the terrain is waaaay to bumpy for a train.

Excellent way of showing the huge development. Any ideas from anyone as to levelling the terrain for the railway? Because that's the only thing that stands out as a weakness.

Wow! Yet another fantastic update, but here's a few remarks:

    -still the grid! 18.gif
-the MOD HERE can hide the dirt next to the rails, makes for a nicer overall look
-those tracks in the Month Six picture are nearly as bumpy as railroad tracks 'round here, lol
-which groundlevel-underground transition are you using in Month Four?
-the black photos add a nice touch
-construction crews work really fast in Thames, wish they would here 22.gif

    That's... about it 18.gif

Keep up the great work, the older updates look really good, too!

    petriknl: of course 2.gif
nooneatall:thanks, i might try that mod. Thames construction crews are much faster in getting projects done, different work ethic you see 2.gif they just get the job done 1.gif im not using a rail-sub transistion. the tunnel is proper rail and i just used some park lots to cover it up.
everyone:bumpy tracks i know, but what do you expect from a system built in victorian times 2.gif18.gif

in the mean time the latest renders of the new super modern Thames South Street have been released

I guess I'll have to stop lurking and comment: That's a great time-lapse on the urban renewal.  I've enjoyed your CJ thus far, but that was really cool.

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

I usually lean towards cities with massive skyscrapers and nice downtowns, but there's this uniqueness about your cities.

    Very quaint and British 18.gif

2 questions. Where did you get that sports field with an orange surface and where can I get those embankment things used next to the railway?
