Official Mapping Community Requests

I noticed Ottawa and area (Gatineau, Hull) was requested a couple of times and was wondering if someone was working on this or not as I don't see it listed in the maps under construction.

I can do Ottawa for you. However, I'm kind of stacked up for this Saturday. Maybe TNS will let me break a rule and do 4 maps this week (to help relieve a little more of our long request list)... that way I'd be doing Everett, WA; NYC, New York; and Ottawa, Quebec?, Canada.

I'm doing Washington, D.C. and it will be a very good map. I did give this one up a little while ago, but upon seeing that it is possible to make, I've taken up the request again. If TNS allows me, I'll upload the map tomorrow even though that would be four maps for me this week.

Thanks so much, would be real excited to play with a map of my home town. It is Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Quebec is just on the other side of the Ottawa river from Ottawa and the city is now called Gatineau after a regional amalgamation. The cities are very intertwined and aside from the stop signs changing from 'stop' to 'Arret' and different license plates you don't know one side from the other.

Washington, D.C. is finished and will be released tomorrow morning. It's a large 32x32 km (2049x2049) region and close to exact scale. It covers the entire beltway corridor and the area outside of it as well. It is very accurate, and hopefully it will fill the void of an accurate, close to scale map of Washington, D.C. and its surrounding metropolitan area.

In bold are the maps that are being worked on (Well I think they are), or they are done and need to be released. I think Mallow's working on all of the ones in bold.

I guess now I'll work on Dover, NJ. I'll also work on one of the other maps on that list, probably New York or Minneapolis-St. Paul.

I'd like to make Boston, but since it's the latest request, it's only fair to do the earlier requests first because the members that requested them have been waiting on their maps for much longer now.

Great job on the list Mallow. Sorry that I had forgot about some of those on my list (Thunder Bay, Brisbane, Great Yarmouth, and So. Cal).

Actually, I'm interested in doing Las Vegas as well. I don't know if you're doing it, or if you haven't started it yet. If you haven't, I'll gladly take it.

Since I don't know how to make maps of places outside of the U.S., I can only take U.S. requests. I think there's enough work for me there though.

What about Mexico City?, would be cool to see a map of Mexico City and Monterrey, and well guys, i understand that all are overworked, so this request take it easy, there's no hurry to upload it, and just try to set and order por all this request rain and try to publish the easiest proyects, by the way excelent work and quality in the maps...
