Does anyone know what happened here? And how I can get my city back?

well there are a number of things that can make this happen...but seeing as you played part of this map I'll assume there was a city in the blank spot before, and most likely have played it...my guess would be that the bitmap has been changed or altered some how, accidently or on purpose and the city that was there no longer fits into the bitmaps cofiguration...eg you edit the map and maybe used the wrong colours so now the game read that area as a blank spot...but that just a wild guess.

if you did change the bit map..open it again and try changing it back...the city should be in your "download" folder...as most times the game dumps cties in there when it doesn't know what to do with them...or at least cross your finger and hope it's there

ps might wana to resize the picture....800x600 is max allowed on ST....or a link to an offsite hosting page ...4.gif

i would imagine u downloaded a new region or some type of ground colours and ur system was not handed to carry it which in turn destroyed one of ur citys my suggestion is - 1 to be happy it didnt destroy ur whole region and 2 delete ur newest downloads

Try clicking on the blank spot and see if you can play it. The game may have only screwed up the sequence where it gets the image of your city (the one it uses to piece together the region view) and everything else is fine. If your city loads like this, then your city is fine and all you need to do to fix the region view is to save the city again. Give it a try,

I doubt that.  When that happens, you get an empty green square, not a hole in the region.
