residential farms

I was wondering, is it possible to combine a low wealth residential lot and a comerical farm, but still get the jobs for farming?

1. as of yet...theres been no way to combine different zonig types (RES, COM or IND) lots together in one lot...that I'm aware of... or any mixture of two of them  (aka the old arcon buildings)
2. some ppl have created lots that have the visiual apearance of this, by creating a small 1x1 lot that has the other types stats to it,  but appears to be part of the original lot and plop it next to it ...this is a visual effect and doesn't actually make the lot duo or triple type...but as far as I know it's the only way to achieve...(or at least to pretend too) multi-type lots

The cool thing about ag zones is they don't completely distruct if you mow over or dezone part of it. This isn't what you were asking for, but maybe it will work in this case for you.

What I like to do with my farms is I like to dezone a section of it and rezone that section to residential so I can get a house to spawn there. On small farms, I like to put the rezoned area next to the road, and on large farms, I like to put a road in penetrating the farm and rezone a space inside the farm to residential. Nomally, I put these rezoned areas next to the structure that spawns with the farm so it looks like a normal farm.
