Education advisor making me nuts

Ok, my education/health advisors (cannot remember ATM same person?) are hounding me about under funding, but when I check the offending building it is over funded by ~10+ students/patients.

I hate to ignore them and mess up my work but obivously I can't afford to fund a school with 300 kids in it to 500+, any suggestions?

I'd love to ignore them if they would stop popping up in my face every 5 minutes complaining of the sick and stupid in my city 4.gif.

I also meant I have them over funded by 100+.

Well you can ignore them or they can have accident and no more advisors.

Maybe you can increase your reserve margin a bit more. I usually adjust my funding to keep a reserve of around 30-50 patients or students, and I never get those nag messages.

If you hate the advisors, turn them into llamas!

    Ctrl-X, then type dollyllama 18.gif

The advisers drive me nuts too, but if you turn the difficulty level up to hard, they hardly say anything at all unless there is a serious problem.

I try to keep my education and health funding above the minimum which usually stopped this from happening. Sometimes adviser advise can be useful but remember a lot of it is one sided.

In large cities, I have to ignore the advice in the news ticker entirely. It suggests that local hospitals or schools are having funding crises, but it doesn't link to the right buildings. I just either end up waiting until they go on strike, or go through and check every building one by one. (Ugh. 4.gif

Ignore Bettina Dean. The only advisors I listen to are:

Neil Fairbanks when he announces new rewards.

Jonas Sparks when he announces real utility problems. ie, "Total City Infrastructure Threatened by Power Scarcity"

well your not alone...many find the advisors messages a pain in the butt, but there is a solution

    the stupid news ticker mod:

    https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=322

use it all the time...helps block any of the anouying messages in the news ticker area except for the most important ones that you will most likely need (eg reward achievements...red alrets etc etc)
