How do you get more jobs than res? I keep getting abonded buildings cause of job.

You have to build diffrent types of job pending on whats available. You will see a littel bar at the buttom showing you how much commerical wants to move in how much industrial and res. You have to fidle around, most people on this site use mods like for me for an example have my own custom mod lot to bost certain things.

I have both indrustrial and commercial. i filled the whole medium map. i have more commercial and industrial area than res. all built on.

That's wierd. You'd think that if you had enough jobs available you would get demand for residential...

You don't need more jobs than sims, because only around half of sims are actually employed (the rest being children, retirees, etc.)

You can try lowering taxes for commercial and industrial to create more demand. Also, education will promote your sims and create demand for more advanced developer types, such as Co§§§.

though # of jobs is the major factor to employment...it's not the only one...there are quite a few different things that can cause this way too many to list...not to mention the # of combinations too...:S

secondly what kind of answer are ya looking for...a non-cheat way ?..a mod of some industial or comecial job (s) (there are plenty of these all over the place)

until a little info like Sam suggests...all we be doing would be randomly guessing

radical ordinance mod is soooooooooo helpful for players who dont have much time like me. It doesn't include a res booster tho. I use a 900x res booster park but cant find the link soz
