High Security Facility

Austin, Texas, is the home to Burger King Product Development Corporation #17.  For unknown reasons, it is a maximum security compound and, as such, is the subject of much speculation among Austin area residents:

The facility has very limited access, as you will see, and is surrounded by both a canal and a 30 foot earthen wall.  All vehicle traffic is thoroughly searched before or leaving the premises.

Freight trains are stopped along the sunken portion of the gateway and are inspected by security personel:

Airspace around the complex is restricted, but our photographers were able to grab this shot of most of the facility before their helicopter was forced down by a black, unmarked F-16:

Noone knows exactly what goes on inside those walls.  Every investigative reporter that has tried to infiltrate the Burger King site has disappeared.  Rumours abound that snipers circumnavigate the walls in electric golfcarts, and that the canals are stocked with sharks (with laser beams attached to their heads).  Closed circuit television cameras and advanced motion detectors can be seen in the surrounding woods, but that is all we are able to substantiate.

A FOIA request made by the Austin Record-Chronical in 2001 indicates that Burger King does have two contracts with DARPA and one with CIA, but the details are classified.  It would seem likely that whatever Burger King is up to, it is going on at this complex.

I've suspected Burger King of evil ever since I found out the charbroiled flavor is just an artificial ingredient.

I think this facility is where they devised the scheme to put a severed thumb in a cup of wendy's chili.

Well, like I said, I just zoned industrial areas inside of a wall. To make something like this you'd need to download Jeronji's new walls, get some ped mall tiles, the light poles, PEG's canals, hole digger lots, and I think that's it. The Burger King sign came with the Burger King restaurant I got from the STEX. I got all the stuff from ST, in fact.

Burger King is just jelous of their rivals 3.gif. And cannot admitt that Wendy's is doing better, and they don't even have an annoying king commercial 3.gif. And of course McDonalds.

Interesting "prison" Burger King 3.gif, odd but nether the less interesting.

    Standby.

That is absolutely hilarious!  Reminds me a little of Streets of Sim City.  Must have been where they came up with the idea to annoy the whole world with that creepy anthropomorphic plastic king . . . (shudders)

Personally, I find their food to be better than the other burger places, though.  McDonald's has been improving lately in my opinion, but I find it entertaining that they keep calling all their new stuff "premium" this or that.  A bit egotistical of them, I think.  I'm actually surprised it hasn't been alluded to on "The Simpsons" or "Family Guy" yet.

cjah:  Wendy's had some pretty annoying ads recently, though they got rid of them . . . the one with the quintuple stack burgers (yes, 5 patties) going up and down with the techno music in the background . . . two words: mute button.  Not as bad as Old Navy though.
