since your doing train stations now, have you ever considered doing some of those old santa fe depots that are all over the place in the midwest and west usa. Im talking about the yellow wooden ones, but there are cool brick southwest style ones too.

I apologize for the oversight I not acknowledging in my last post another fantastic acheivement for SimGoober in getting a 2005 Trixie award.  Will your wonders ever cease.  We all hope not.  Here's to greater acheivements in 2006.  It appears there is a particular thread for specific requests, so I will post my future requests for classical architecture there, if you are interested in checking them out.

I ALWAYS look forward to SG releases. They are always very high quality and very well tested. So above all, thanks.

And I'm glad to see you're being humble about the awards. 1.gif

I'm not sure if you take requests or not, but I think one that would definitely test your skills would be the Mormon Temple here in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Thanks for replying to it. 1.gif

I have a mission for you man. I trust no other with this mission. But now that so much is known about the game, lots, buildings, transit, lighting, et al. I think it's time I make this request.

    Las Vegas!!!

I mean the strip has what... a good 20 massive hotels, each with it's own style, color, lighting, and theme. How perfect would that collection be to both the plopable and growable player?

You could even model the sweet escalader system they use at intersections so people don't have to cross traffic. The sheer number of jobs just one of the massive complexes offers is fantastic, but also the major amount of demand on R$$, R$$$ and CS$$$, CO$$, CO$$$

Plus just think of the tax revenue. :D

As prolific as SG is, I don't think an entire team could really do justice to Las Vegas.  It just seems like so much work its ridiculous.

I am just now uploading a pack of 3 public pools to the STEX.  Each of these pools functions as a residential park, and is also a seasonal prop.  This means that the pool will have people in it during the day, and none in the evening.  I have been developing this set for over a month, and also have a reward lot based on them almost ready to go.  It should be uploaded tomorrow.

I figure once your Sims learn how to Swim, they will want to have Swim Competitions!  So I have made the Sim Swim Arena.  Twice a year it fills up with fans, and the locals compete with neighbor cities!

It seems your making a Swimming Arena, sweet! Maybe it would be cool if you made a modern Sports arena. It would be awsome!

SimGoober, I admire your work and have most of your lots, and was wondering, if I may be so bold, as to whether I might suggest a project... Or ask if it is possible.

Now that lots which give information on things that you could only vaguely determine beforehand (population breakdown, farm types etc), I was wondering if there was any way to display a breakdown of the levels of building in your city. I imagine it to be something like a city planning office, and whilst relieving demand caps across the board, also shows you how many stage 6, 7 and 8 buildings for R & C are in your city.

Not as useful as some of the other 'data-lots' but a good one for all those who like to brag about the verticality of their cities...

I don't think it is possible to count the stage buildings in a city.  In fact, many basic things cannot be counted easily, which is a big part of why Daeley developed the BTE system (BSC Tracking Enhanced).  It uses custom occupancy codes that we can count, so we know how many of specific buildings are out there.  We did add this to the custom farm expansion pack, so with my Farm Bureau reward lot, you can see how many you have of each stage,  Only works on those lots that have these codes though.
