With your advice I open this topic to talk about my stores (like Auchan , Carrefour or Leroy Merlin ...) .

 

To create my buildings I use Gmax and the BAT to process at the export in lot and prop. I have noticed that your aren't according with the quality of textures. For an important part of people which criticize they say that the quality isn't it HD.

 

It's a real problem this because I use Gmax and I don't how I can obtain a better quality for this ? The quality of Gmax it's not the quality of 3Dsmax :/

 

What you proposes to improve the quality of my building ?

Ideally, you could start with adding doors to yours models since in most of the buildings I've seen, lack entrances. You could also try adding details to your textures to make them stand out more, rather than looking flat, like for instance, those cylindrical dome areas that have really flat looking solid color textures. I'm not overly familiar with GMax, but you could add some bump mapping to make them stand out a little more, or instead, model the corrugated iron walls. And I get that a lot of department stores/malls tend to look the same, but it wouldn't hurt to add some varitions to the models. It might also be worth revising the details on your windows too and model them rather than texture them. They'll look a whole lot better.

 

Meanwhile, your lotting also seems rather chaotic and ill-sorted i.e. Cars parked along a pedestrian area and not a carpark. An idea might be to actually add car parks on your lots, and put the cars there rather than in front of the actual BAT directly.

I permit to reopened this topic for a specific question .

I build too bat under gmax to customize SimCity 4 (essentially store, shop, warehouse ... ) . To add diversification inside video game.

How it's possible to exchange 3d model from gmax ? Not the .sc4desc or .sc4model .
