I saw that story on the news. Goes to show how far people will go. here is the story Tank used in rampage will work again THE owner of a 1967 British tank used to ram seven mobile phone towers in Sydney's west on the weekend says his Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) is "trashed" - but he has vowed to repair it. Owner Greg Morris said he was devastated to learn that his former employee, John Robert Patterson, 45, of Dharruk, had allegedly stolen the tank and used it to attack seven mobile phone towers in two hours early yesterday morning. Mr Patterson will face Penrith Local Court tomorrow charged with numerous offences including predatory driving and malicious damage. Mr Morris, who runs A-One Lift Truck Services in Minchinbury, today vowed to repair the $1 million tank which he says was uninsured. "I'm going to repair it... I've got to,'' Mr Morris said. He said the APC had been "very popular'' at weddings, student formals and monster truck shows. Mr Morris said Mr Patterson was a "great guy'' who had helped restore the tank last year. "He finished up just before Christmas, but I still keep in contact with him,'' Mr Morris said. "The problem he had wasn't with me. It's just that (the tank) was what he needed to do what he's done.'' It is believed Mr Patterson used to be a telecommunications worker and he thought he had been damaged by mobile phone radio waves. In refusing bail at Parramatta court yesterday, Magistrate Terry Forbes recommended Mr Patterson receive psychiatric attention. Mr Morris said Mr Patterson used to do telecommunications work for the army and he believed mobile phone waves had "harmed his head''. Three Optus towers were damaged at Mt Druitt, Blackett and Minchinbury. A company spokesman said repairs had started when "it was no longer a crime scene'' and there had been only minimal disruptions to services. Telstra had four towers brought down in the western suburbs. A spokesman said other towers had "picked up the slack''. Source: http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,22078260-1242,00.html?from=public_rss Apparantly he rammed the towers because of health issues with them. If you ask me that guy really is strange

i agree with bendy with Melbourne being a laid back city, although i live in Melbourne i still would prefer Melbourne over Sydney. I believe it is easier to get around Melbourne, than Sydney. The suburbs of Melbourne are spread out, and Melbourne is much more affordable to live in than Sydney

well it depends for me, if the new version is good or not. most of the new remakes are good, while others are crap. I still choose old version the best
