  2. American Politics

Within a month the US Treasury must rule whether China is a "currency manipulator", triggering sanctions under US law. With America's U6 unemployment at 16.8pc,it's going to be really hard for them yet again to fudge on the obvious fact that China is manipulating.
  3. Capitalism versus Socialism

For more than a generation we have been living a US style of capitalism ,living in a financial fantasy world, gorging ourselves on debt inside a credit fueled bubble , a system created by a small group of white men ,that forces much of the world to worship before the three gods of modern capitalism ,"Privatization " "Deregulation" & "Global economic liberalization " . Banks and financial companies went bigger and global ,year after year ,lobbying government to relax even more regulations,so they could sell new complicated derivatives and credit default swaps , a worldwide "bubble" of financial products, without anything tangible to support it . Less than 2 years after the bubbles burst ,those who bought the products and many others are now living its nightmare ,while the "system"that brought it about ,appears to be "back to business as usual". Goldman Sash , a financial bookmaker ? Has capitalism now turned to gambling ? Some may call Goldman an "investment bank " but at the end of the day ,its the "bookies shop" . Also social bailouts to save the capitalists?? a social fund bailing a capitalist system , sorry that goes over my head, so without socialism ,capitalism ,at least in the west ,would be on its knee s right now . Socialism or Capitalism? That would depend on the style ,imho. What does the future hold for US style crony capitalism? And what are the alternatives to neo-liberal globalization?

Much of it comes from the middle east, where the money either directly funds terrorism or indirectly enables it by propping up governments and societies which tolerate it. A fair chunk of itcomes from Venezuela, where the money supports the regime of Hugo Chavez, who is both an evil dictator and vehemently anti-American (this is why I don't buy gas from Citgo). More comes from Nigeria, which, while not a state that harbors or sponsors terrorism, is nevertheless home to a lot of people who are sympathetic to it, and is also a nation that is not entirely politically stable. quote> One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter ? Hugo Chavez Why ? because he stands up to "Yankee imperialism"?. He has drastically improved Venezuela for its poor. Hes nationalised US companies that were acting outside Venezuelan law so the Venezuelan people benefit. He has won 2 elections and passed numerous referendums with huge majoritys in free and fair votes. Right now hes in Moscow ,doing energy deals and buying arms ,as a deterrant to US imperialism .
  5. BP Makes "Giant" Oil Find in Gulf of Mexico

This is laughable BP arent they the ones in Sim societies promoting Green power , yet the go drill the deepest well in the world ,for just 300,000 barrels a day . The good news about this oil find is , it does not increase the trade deficit for the US ,meaning less money going overseas on foreign oil.
  6. Industry in Western Europe and North America

Imho we in a constant cycle of boom and bust ,Economics is insane. In fact the whole system is insane , it demands we take more from the earth every year , turn it into even more things. faster , take ,make and throw away .The more successful they system is the faster it destroys the planet , it assumes we will always discover new energy and new deposits of existing energies . We treat animals as mere commodities ,to make as fat as possible,as quick as possible ,on as little food as possible ,every year we condemn millions of animals to a lifetime of pain and suffering in the name of economics. Its insane that rising house prices are a sign of economic success, when thousands are homeless because they cant afford them . To support a system that every year turns out more , suicide, homelessnes, drug taking ,alcoholism, stress, pain, fear and suffering. W ed be in real trouble if this system worked .

Yup Sustainable growth is mathematically impossible . Markets are going up as the US gov is throwing billions at it . If you can out sell the US gov the market would come back down again. My sims in New Haven brainwashed by education , allow them to own a lil something they become totaly obedient ,Professionals are the most productive slaves by far . Most of the guru s on mainstream have something to sell you ,i take very little notice of mainstream . This is interesting link to get a picture of the economy AAR Reports Rail Traffic Continues to Reflect the Down Economy http://www.aar.org/NewsAndEvents/PressReleases/2009/08_WTR/081309_RailTrafficReport.aspx Also imho the economy can never fully recover Economics wont let it .

See also Matthew 12:18; Acts 3:13, and 4:27 where we find that his disciples knew him as ‘Servant of God’ Jesus is the Messiah. He is a word from God, and a spirit from Him. Did jesus lie on this occasion ? Im not suggesting for one second he did.
  9. economic turnout:

The Financial and Economic Position of the United Kingdom 1931. Memo to Cabinet from Sir Warren Fisher, Permanent Secretary to the Treasury September 1931. Deficits with Inky Blots and Rotten Parchment Bonds sustained. "The seriousness of the financial difficulties which are engaging public attention is perhaps not fully realised. It may therefore be useful to set out the elementary facts. The root cause of the "run" on the part of the foreign depositor is the fact of our living beyond our means as evidenced by our ordering from abroad more goods than we could pay for and therefore our owing to other countries more in dollars and francs than they owe to us in sterling. Closely associated with this fact in the foreign mind is the question of our national Budget. After the war a certain number of countries continued to have difficulties in balancing their budgets and instead of pulling in their belts, resorted to the expedient of meeting deficits by printing innumerable bank or currency notes. Whenever this was done, the national currency lost much or all of its value i.e. purchasing power, and with the corresponding rise in prices, hardship, even hunger, was widespread. Consequently, when any of these countries subsequently desired financial assistance from other countries before the citizens of the latter could be induced to lend, they insisted on the borrowing country balancing its budget. And no one was more emphatic than ourselves in preaching this doctrine. A national Budget has thus come to be regarded as a touchstone of a country's financial stability second only in importance to its international balance of trade; and if, as the case at present with us, we are "down" on our balance of trade with other countries, foreigners to whom we owe money automatically turn a microscope on to our Budget. And if the Budget is not really balanced, but is merely dressed up to look as though it were; or again if the national expenditure is of a scope and type such as to involve (by means of taxation) taking people's saved, up capital and spending it as if it were recurrent income, the distrust abroad of our soundness would be intensified. Any expectation that we might continue on a "rake's progress" would complete the destruction of international confidence and thus result in the final collapse of our greatest asset, i.e. our credit. The remedy is to reverse the process which has been responsible for the trouble, and this means that instead of living at a level which has entailed ordering abroad more goods than we can pay for, we must relate our orders to our capacity to pay. And unless we can produce and sell abroad more goods (including "services") than we have been doing, we shall be forced to cut down our orders abroad, and our and our standard of living must be reduced accordingly.
  10. The Definition of "Christian"

Whats the arabic word for "apple" its certainly not apple ,but they are one and the same .
  11. The Definition of "Christian"

Well, note the word "tries"quote> Your premise ? Also keep in mind that Jesus did not leave instructions for every situation you may be in.quote> Are you talking in biblical terms or personal gnosis ? . Many Christians would refute that Allah is the same as their god (because their god would never summon another prophet and author a whole new holy book).quote> I have a very simple explanation for this(if only i could spell it, i hate google search it always says to me "did you mean " we cant all be perfect in everyway-/) , but i wont bore you with it as i have no proof .
  12. Sarkozy speaks out about the Burka in French society

Hym , In an ideal world your views would work perfectly , however they are more racist than us , and dont jump on me without going checking that out , they will even admit they are , also a christian living in a muslim country stands more chance of being discriminated against than a muslim living in a christian country you cannot debunk that , and as regards % i know very few European Christians that want to go live in pakistan for example . Personaly i dont blame them for wanting to escape these regimes , however guys like the Islamic Cleric Choudry who operates near me , preaches hate on my doorstep, as a matter of survival im afraid i must tar them all with the same stick for now .
  13. The Definition of "Christian"

The Definition of "Christian" ,maybe someone that believes , the God of Abraham is the one and only God . That tries to live by the values "Jesus" showed us , and tries to handle every situation as "Jesus" would ?. At which i fail miserably . Thats ok no problem i do get restless , and eternity is a long time . Id guess 95% + dont make the grade ;-) . "Hell" i think has been exaggerated ,in ghost stories . I try look for logic and come on now ,its not very Godlike to send someone to hell , think about it , it cant be right ,not if god exists. I think hell is you cease to exist , thats hell in itself i guess , but there is no fire and barbaques .i dont think so Also Allah is God , im pretty sure of this as "Gabriel " is mentioned in both books and Surah2 is very similar reading to geninsis ?
  14. Sarkozy speaks out about the Burka in French society

Imho the Taliban Bikini is offensive in its very existence, it represents a radical extreme . A french women walking the streets of Saudi Arabia,Afganistan,Iran, Pakistan and other countries ,in a business suit , Knee length skirt , blouse ect would be mocked and abused by some of the more radical locals , she has no form of representation in that country . One set of rules for us , another for them , just a small observation of a much larger picture. Something else i try to understand, the wearer of this garment has pretty strong values and beliefs , this is not fashion wear. If your beliefs are so strong , then why would you choose to live amongst the Infidels in France , however is it not polite to do in rome as the romans do ? . And the women covers herself to prevent provacation, sins of the flesh , In islam moreso the more extreme , A women is no more than the handmaiden of god ,therefore she must do excatly as her husband tells her .
  15. UK Parliment Faces Unprecedented Situation

Ski , Sure that would be a tax investigation they come random, however should you submit accounts with the Chartered accountants seal , then it is very unlikely they will choose you at random (contradiction but thats how it works) . The change , i guess its all part of the gradual dismantling of an Imperial Empire , i remember the Monarch came under lots of pressure from British Commonwealth realms like Australia and Canada ,and also the British Government of the time ,the 70-80,s was a rough ride for the UK monarch , they did want to disband the Monarch altogether . I think it was a compromise . Some countries are still classed as subjects its complicated , these include countries like British India ,Republic of Ireland etc Commonwealth realms, are: Antigua and Barbuda,Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados,Belize,Canada, Grenada,Jamaica , New Zealand, Papua New Guinea,St Christopher and Nevis,St Lucia ,St Vincent and the Grenadines ,Solomon Islands ,Tuvalu Im not sure of the status of every country in that list , it was a another terrible time in history the age of sail .The empire was built at a time if it wasnt British it would of been conquered by the French ,Spanish ,Dutch or Portuguese .We where far more humane than any of these other countries imho .
  16. ~ HonG KonG ~

Just checked out the last few pages , fantastic city , it also breaks my heart ,as i dont get time to play these days.
  17. UK Parliment Faces Unprecedented Situation

To check every entry on every tax return would cost to much and take lots of time ,if your return is completed by a qualified accountant , then the IR dont realy give the tax return a second glance, sure there s a chance ,you may get a tax investigation ,but its slim , the secret to fiddling is find a "good accountant" . As for trusting the Monarchs MP s and Government , what you think im mad(dont answer that) , i dont trust them as far as i can throw them , i know what they are upto ,its not just MPs its most of them that have access to public money at all levels of government and public service . I believe the British royal family now pay taxes , chances are she has a "good accountant" . I am a Commonwealth citizen formely known as a british subject since 1981 .
  18. UK Parliment Faces Unprecedented Situation

This is been going on for like since the beginning of civilisation and goes on in every government in the world , i think so . Its not just a british problem , we small time Donald Rumsfelt stole millions of barrels of oil , it didnt even make the media ..
  19. TARP and Other Bailouts

The first wave of inflation mania hit the markets this week . Interesting situation when Head office bails out its front companies with Government money ,which in turn passes liability to the taxpayer to work it off . The main share holders of the FED , own Citibank , Bank of America , Goldman,JP Morgan and countless other front companies all over the world. You owe any of these companies 1 cent and they will take the shirt of your back ,should you own one. So to see these kind of companies getting bailouts is a lil annoying to say the least . The Fed can make a $4000 tree into a Billion bucks . Oil is back to $70.00 and rising fast,Gold $990.00, this is not supply demand driven price rise ,its inflation worries due to quantative easing,so we face rising costs in a time of negative growth . In 2002 1 Euro bought you $0.86 , a $ has lost half its value since the start of Iraq,it did go as low as 1 Euro =$1.64 . So if we over there doing good for the world why they debaunching the currency ? However this last week or so Oil was $61.73 -$63 ,Gold was $935-915 ,Euro/USD $1.38 , The $ lost about 5 cents going to $1.43 , this made oil go up $7 gold went up $55 all for 5 cents .US oil inventories grew last week ,Gold demand sinking ,but yet the price is going up ? This was due to printed bailout money , bad news is they planning on printing more ,everyweek ,then you have $3.0 trill printed government borrowing over 2 years its not looking good for the $ in all of this ,but this only matters to real people as the elite dont care how weak the $ is they own the printing machine and tree s are cheap . You can speculate what happens if the economy shows real signs of recovery , id guess $145 oil is going to be the good old days. If we hadnt of gone into Iraq oil be about $35 now as the $ wouldnt of lost half its value in the last 7 years . If you watch the markets closely as i do , you may notice that its the Eastern/ Asian markets times when the $ makes the biggest losses , then when US markets open they try to make up the losses its quite a battle ,very speculative ,you can buy and sell and buy it back at same price and sell it again ,but i dont trade currency, but its also uneasing to witness as i dont want to see the $ become worthless. Sure it could be US business trading on Asian markets idk . They say one thing leads to another , and its funny how a scuffle to topple an Evil dictator has lead to this.
  20. A global 'super currency'?

I feel US citizens should try to resist a Global World currency ,it has serious implications for the $ ,US economy. AIG for one , lost a lots more money buying commodities , namely oil , when prices came down from $150 to $37 ,hehe Oil was a bubble that busted all the bubbles . Some of our dewds have been buying full companies with just 0.5% down(spread betting at 200-1 leverage) and hoping the share price increases , it didnt it went down ,lmao . Not funny realy as it costs us , the taxpayer a fortune its a bottomless pit x 200. IMF Special Drawing Rights , well UK as always been broke since before Waterloo . Whats new ? We have good modern armies , but cashflow , our countries are a joke compared to some lesser developed ME countries . GDP is inflated its not real . The BoE and Fed are private companies ,no more Federal than federal Express , most central banks are private , and i guess the IMF is private also . High oil prices lead us here ? Just like 1960,s-1970 ,s oil embargo s , that destroyed Brentonwoods and old Uk money . Hopefully the US economy will show signs of recovery and the $ remains world reserve currency . Fiat currency , until the world shares a common bill of rights , then personaly would never accept a global currency ,its worth less to me in countries which i dont care to live due to human rights issues. I can name many Countries one wouldnt care to live , that are very well positioned in a free market environment based on economic strength alone . Until we all live by same rule of law , which is unlikely as we have seen by what happens in ME , then i am against a single world currency . We will now all be brainwashed again with spin, by the special interests polititians ,about how important a single global world currency is ,in saving the world . Im realy interested to see how We the people , go along with this , as we the subjects have very little choice in the matter.
  21. PETA Hypocrisy

My weekend and holiday job as a youngster over 20 years ago ,was at a local cats and dogs home in England .It was horrible , i love animals . I believe they destroy unwanted pets to make way for next weeks new arrivals ,in some cases or this how they used to justify it . I do believe they would just become completely over run . Sometimes my old boss would bump an unwanted pet the day of its arrival , he was judge, jury and executioner .
  22. American Politics

American politics ,more so American foreign policy ,is real important to me as it regards the welfare of billions all over the World. I must say im real pleased to see Obama again addressing the Ayatollah (Sent from Heaven),i been spamming No 10 and White House and US congress for over two months now asking them to address the GW Bush Declaration, they silly to think we can run blind and win a cold war. This should be his priority ,as foreign policy often dictates domestic policy . They was all talking economy and i was like what , wake up . You cant fix it ! Maybe address the problems that led us here is best way to fix the economy ?. By persuing peace with Iran,Obama is going to make himself some new powerful homegrown and oversea s enimies . The policy changes required of the US ,by Iran , im not sure that Obama has the power to ,be real intersting to see if he s a puppet or not i realy cant see obama going against the US status quo . I hope he is strong enough to walk this path ,as its just, although i fear he will put himself at risk ,if he does . Obama has many obsticles . Iran is a good starting point , although it can never be peace with foreign troops ,close by . I try not to follow politics, the apathy sometimes makes me want to puke . Left right and centre ,its smoke screen the special interests control all aspects of Government . Foreign policy will ultimatley dictate, if and when the US economy will recover and to what degree ,at least in the short medium term .Or until the US becomes more self suffiecient with regards to energy . Recovering economy = More activity=More Demand for oil =oil price rises naturaly + cold war tactics = Us economy slowing and entering a 2nd slump ? Kurdish oil ,or should i say Northern Iraq oil comes online soon , the special interests will have control of these pipelines , it suggests to me , the importance ,as regards US sovereignty ,and the special interests ,id speculate we will be in Iraq for another 10 years at least . Obama said 2010 , if US pull out of Iraq it will be a bloodbath, 5% of Iraq population hold 50% of the vote, Saddam was a tyrant , but he kept them all in line . Its a can of worms , its the presance alone of foreign troops that drive the Freedom fighters (Terrorists). On top of this our special interest groups have invested to much into these countries to ever walk away . I did say in an earlier post i thought it was important to save companies that , are part of US soveriegnty . But AIG , basicaly the US taxpayer now indemnifies every AIG insurance policy on the planet .Wow .Let it fail You dont know what your getting yourselves into . AIG made insurance cover on Middle east assets , things we blew up ourselves .lol They have life insurance just like we do, you know . 2.5 millions dead and a lots of damage in Iraq,Gaza, and( Sudan or Somalia) alone . Full Hotel was bombed in Pakistan, someone has to cover the insurance . US taxpayer ? As a Uk taxpayer we joke im still paying for ww2 ,we are ,,now they want me to pay for Iraq,Gaza, and everyone else they hurt while securing the oil , why should we suffer for Dicks oil ? Special interests . No wonder our social services suck 90% of my money goes to pay old debts. Obtw as an individual i dont do debt as such .After Andrea s death i had no choice but to remortgage but because of extra payments my mortgage is now less than 15% LTV . So to get lumbered with State debt is realy painful, as ive always had my feet firmly planted on the floor and paid my taxes, like many of us. Islam in many respects is the most rightous path of all belief imho . But islam in its very nature is radical , church 5 times a day ,prayer directed at Mecca, less rights for women,Corpral punishment ,revenge laws etc . Its much more radical than any other faith in these respects,to radical for most westerners. Its a dilema for me , as in if Islam was more liberal ,id be tempted myself . Also upto 20% of Taxes from islam goes to support the Jihad - The cause Freedom Fighters , they obliged to support it . AIG had a finger in this pie also . Some aspects of Islam have become much more liberal , however i feel they still have a long way to go , we are no better , this is not an attack on just Islam . When some discuss religion indirectly they refering to race . eg Jews,Jewish , jews can be christian ,Catholic ,muslim or athiest . Just because they are a jew or jewish doesnt mean there religion is Judaism . Wow that took 2 hours , dang Breakfast time , have a good day everyone .
  23. Dont believe the hype ,it was the Soviets that broke the German War machine , Georgy Zhukov (spelling) , he pushed the Germans from Stalingrad to Berlin , and then took Berlin , the Soviets would advance in such numbers they would overwhelm machine gun fire , they would also push men forwards to clear mine fields .Georgy Zhukov did not break the German War machine by being worried about his own losses. Battle of Britain broke the German airforce . US only entered ww2 after Japan declared and attacked the US , Japan was German allie . US involvement in ww2 meant not only could we continue the war , we could now bring it to an end. It would of continued much longer without the US , but im confident The Allies and Soviets without US involvement would still of been victorious. US financed a lot of the War for the Brits , this played a big part , was it called Lend Lease ?. Blitzkrieg ,lol I mastered the Art of Blitzkrieg in PC games online Axis and allies , secret is Heavy air bombardment on front lines , while panzer division s then smash into the defences , very effective when timed correctly. I think we owe lots of respect to the Soviets for there massive contribution and sacrifice in ww2 .
  24. Creationism vs. Evolution

I meant Spanish Inqui - Inquisition i was struggling to spell the word so tryed a guess at the queens name Isabella I of Castile .
  25. Creationism vs. Evolution

I got the weirdest NWO type message when i tryed to log in earlier lol I dont know duke the choice of conversion or beheaded 4500 in one alleged incident or fight your way out of it look up Charlemagne, Arabela of Spain . The Britons did not give up their pagan gods without a fight , folk tales are the pioneers pretended to be the tribal leaders friend , then had them beheaded , thats slaughter in my books , sorry if my english is blunt .This practice of beheading disbelievers can still happen in the world today in many places .In real world terms Christians and disbelievers are a minority . Technology is allowing us to map out the characteristics of species , one day we might be able to create something thats alive . We dont even have tools to see whats beyond our own galaxy yet . We still have lots to learn before evolution becomes more than theory . Id expect Evolution can prove these similarities, everything is connected we all part of the same eco system , thats my views , even if evolution scientist eventually create life it just proves ,it can be done . Im not a preacher very rarely share my beliefs and im not trying to convert anyone , to be honest id struggle to be able to honestly advise anyone which religion to convert to . There are many reasons to not believe and religion is one of them ,imho . How you treat each other is more important than belief , In my twisted logic i trust that if there is afterlife , whatever comes after mortality is eternal ,however i believe disbelievers go to heaven if there is one , depends on how you live your life ,imho . As long as the experiments dont cross the line of human suffering , then i fully support all evolution research . 1.7 billion believe in evolution without any proof , the qu ran calls god the Evolver and shaper 1400 years ago and also as drawings of human embryo . K ll in that one , y and not i , gosh so many red lines .
