as you can see i have quite a few buildings downloaded. they are growable. how come they dont grow? or very very rarely? basically i want to improve my region to such a way, that my downtown is only the biggest of the biggest

i have a standard maxis skyscraper, who is now occupied by RS$$ is this a stage 8 building? how can i tell? and i dont want this one, i want a cool one i downloaded

how can i tell i have stage 8 skyscrapers? and i downloaded a lot of cool skyscrapers, but they dont appear. i think my transport works well enough at this point. basically i want those skyscrapers i downloaded to grow, and not those semi boring oringal ones..

ok im still baffled. i added some screenshots to show what i have done. the skyscraperes i added in my plugin folder are growable (i checked, because i think its coolest). but most of those are stage 8. what am i missing to make those skyscrapers pop up everywhere?

so i build a few cities. i have all the proper mods to 'fix' the game. i have loads of downloaded growable lots, skyscrapers ofcourse but i had maybe 1 or 2 of those ever grow, and they werent even the nicest ones. my cities are stuck at 350k, and they dont seem to grow bigger. how do i get them to grow bigger from here, and how do i get the skyscrapers to grow? or what am i doing wrong or what am i missing?

w00t! thank you CorinaMarie after an hour searching for any link to the file, i gave and asked here! still very much alive community! SimCity 4 is by far the most fun simicity imo (ofcourse after the necessary mods!!!!) also that prima guide is a huge help!! now a city of 1,000,000 pop is the goal! (at 400k now) that is, without the use of supermods ofcourse

hello. its been about 10 years i played SimCity 4, and its still a great game! (when properly modded ofcourse) now i run into the same problem i did last decade. demand cap! there used to be a list here, but its offline www.simcitycentral.net/knowledge/simcity4/cap-relief-list/ can anyone help me with a cap relief list?

well thx for the answer, but that trigger doesnt seem to come. my region has 5,000,000 pop and all cities have a university. just this particular one with currently 250k pop, doesnt get it triggered. i got the other awards like mail library and opera house, a well educated system and a maxed out major rating. i read somewhere that more schools or high school could trigger the university arrival, so i build several more. i waited 10 years, and still no university. im sure its a trigger of some sort, but it still is strange.. i did sort of exactly the same as in my other cities and they got offered the uni quite quickly. so more ideas are welcome!

so i started to play sc4 again since a few years. always nice. im looking for a forum or a file where i can check the demands and desires of buildings, parks, plazas, etc. i know a plaza is good for attracting offices. but what about other things like gazebo, tenniscourt, skating, etc. anybody can help me out on a list of what buildings do for your city? thx in advance.. scape
