I've already built a city of ottawa, and made the canals using the simgoober's BSC canals, the streets are laid out accurately, and ive even named them as i built each one so as a reference to where i am on my google map, except i added modifications of somethings id like to see in ottawa, i made metcalfe street a the confederation walk from parliament hill to the museum of nature (victoria memorial). The is a light rail on bank street on to wellington then through rideau street. and another line runs down somerset goes underground and then connects to Ottawa University, continuing east towards vanier, i'll have it end in orleans. Ive only built downtown/ the byward market and lower town. Im in need of the actual buildings, like the NAC, chateau laurier, parliament buildings(east, west and center block), the rideau centre/congress centre/westin hotel and future convention centre complex and the DND building. If anyone knows how to do BATs it would be greatly appreciated. =o) -
Rapid transit scheme yes, but all the stations have stops, and the bus road is for buses only, they connect to normal roads here and there, but there is never a gap in the transit way, except in downtown... ottawa's proposed light rail is a joke though... runs same route at transit way... but rather then replace the transiteay, they think it'll work with both bus and train... our mayor is a freak anyways.

ya but not a bus lane, a bus road, for buses only!! with its own transit stations, much like the Light rail, but better because it can use normal roads too.

http://www.octranspo.com/maps_menuE.htm Here's a link that even lays out each station and shows all the transit way in detail

I'm not a modder or lot/bat designer and know nothing about it, but im wondering if anyone here who does, if they can make a transit way for buses, in Ottawa we have an amazing transitway system, which is much like a light rail or subway, but its transit stations and bus only roads, when the bus road meets the normal roads, there is a sign that hangs over the road that says BUSES ONLY/NO ENTRY... if you go to http://www.octranspo.com you'll see pics of the transitway stations and see what im talking about. As far as i know Ottawa is one of the only cities in the world that has such a unique form of mass transit using buses. So i would like to see if someone can make a transit way that works.
