Hi. I would like to request a heavy assignment. It has come to my attention that the Civics are in a dire need of an overhaul and upgrade. Thus, I would like to request the following BATs to be created, each one unique to it's own perspective, for the civic buildings: These fit in the standard 6 by 6 road division size. Some extra things I might want to add is this: {UTILITIES} (Water) Lite Water Pump (1x1) Small Water Pump (2x2) Water Pumping Station (3x3) Large Pumping Station (4x4) Deluxe Pumping Station (6x6) (Electric) Substation (1x1) Power Station (2x2) Superstation (3x3) Power House (4x4) Power Plant (6x6) If you could create this, this would improve many people's gameplay and make them think harder and more strategically in planning their cities. Hmm, I forgot to mention this. The higher the grade of the building in question, the larger the range and capacities it holds. It also costs a lot more. I can program this, but I cannot create custom content.

I don't think it was approved to be deleted, either. I didn't get a notice on it, and I worked really hard on it. I even posted a second thread in the CORRECT forum and linked my post to that thread. Now both threads are missing It was posted yesterday. I smell a bad mod or a hacker. Visit thread to get to my point. This was the thread that was deleted. Civic Modded Lots I'm trying to figure out what anemities and jobs are. I'm creating a group of ploppable civics where they have Lite, Small, Normal, Large, and Deluxe sizes. The higher up you go, the better they become. Higher up civics generate more desirability for that group. Education, specifically Elementary, High School, and College; generate anemities. Airports, specifically Landing Strips, Municipal Airports, and International Airports; generate jobs. Seaports, specifically Docks, Marinas, and Seaports; generate Industry (I don'[t know what catagory they fit under) $ is low desirability. Elementary Schools, Landing Strips, and Docks generate these. $$ is medium desirability. High Schools, Municipal Airports, and Marinas generate these. $$$ is high desirability. Colleges, International Airports, and Seaports generate these. I'm also creating the following in the sizes as well: Police_A (Lite Police Station, Small Police Station, Police Station, Large Police Station, Deluxe Police Station) Police_B (Police Kiosk, Police Office, Police Department, Police Administration Building, Department of Justice) Police_C (Detainment Facility, Detention Center, Jail, Prison, Department of Corrections) Fire_A (Lite Fire Station, Small Fire Station, Fire Station, Large Fire Station, Deluxe Fire Station [6x6]) Fire_B (Fire Kiosk, Fire Office, Fire Department, Fire Administration Building, Department of Safety) Fire_C (Field, Runway, Landing Strip, Airstrip, Fireport) Health_A (Lite Paramedic Station, Small Paramedic Station, Paramedic Station, Large Parametic Station, Deluxe Paramedic Station) Health_B (Doctor's Office, Family Clinic, General Hospital, Medical Center, Department of Health) Health_C (Pharmaceuticals, Psychiatrist's Office, Psychiatric Hospital, Disease and Research Lab, Department of Wellness) As a bonus, I'm adding these following perky buildings as a complete-package-only download: Education_A (Local Branch Library [2x2] (Alt), Main Library [3x3] (Alt), Downtown City Library [6x6]) Education_B (Art Museum [2x2], City Museum of Natural History [3x3], National Museum of Art and History [6x6]) Education_C (Branch University [2x2], City University [3x3], Simtropolis National University [6x6]) Also note that these buildings are based on the in-game city buildings and no second-hand plug-ins/bats. The lots' exemplars will be entirely overhauled and edited to fit these catagories. But none of the original lots will be changed... only new content added. My question is: What are amenities and what are jobs? What is the general bases of each? And what about the other of the three? What is it?- 100 Replies

Exemplar Error: Width, Height, and Depth The Exemplar doesn't seem to fix this in SC4 PIM... I can do virtually everything in there and more, except edit everything in the exemplar (Only a few items can be edited). I don't know how to set the boundaries of the Buildings... like... what is the actual size? is there a tool that can measure it? And why is the SC4 PIM-X model preview and Sim City 4's plop preview not showing? I think the resource key generator is bugged, because when I create a model, it can't find it.- 100 Replies

So, I keep seeing $, $$, and $$$ Jobs, as well as Amenities in the exemplars. What exactly are these for (The Jobs and Amenities). I can't figure out which goes where. If jobs and amenities stand for the Industrial and Commercial zones, then where is the Residential version of them? -

Hi. This is about the exemplars. So, I notices that there are Jobs, and Anemities. I think jobs is for Commercial, and Anemities is for Industrial, right? If this is so, why cant I find Residential Demand Created? Or is Jobs Commercial, and Anemities Residential? The reason I ask is because I want to create an RCI based city that has Schools for Residential Growth, Airports for Commercial Growth, and Seaports for industrial Growth It works like this: Lite, Small, Normal, Large, and Deluxe. In this order, the more you continue right, the higher the demand created. Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3. School Grade 1 is Elementary, School Grade 2 is Highschool, School Grade 3 is College. Airport Grade in is Landing Strip. Airport Grade 2 is Municiple Airport. Airport Grade 3 is International Airport. Seaport Grade 1 is Docks. Seaport Grade 2 is Marinas. Seaport grade 3 is Seaport. GradeGrade 1 Creates more demand in $ Catagories. Grade 2 creates more demand in $$ catagories. Grade 3 creates more demand in $$$ catagories.

Another thing. Does editing the Parent Cohort of a self created object do anything? I keep getting 0 cohorts, and there are some properties missing on this lot where SC4 original lots have. The reason I ask is because the preview in SC4 PIM-X and in the Game don't show anything when you are about to plop. But when you plop, it comes up anyway- 100 Replies
