What do you mean no juicy bones? I just saved the world!
-
No more post until Nightlight has been done! X( You are teasing me, i want it now. Nice work Beebs, when will your other house finally be lotted?
-
Looking good beebs, especially on the little windows around the window frames (can't wait for a nightlight pic).
-
It looks much better now, not as high up, i think the roof and exhaust looks fine, in fact no major criticism. Keep it up!
-
Nice new houses beebs. I like the look of this one, it should fit it well in a small lot, i think becuase of the height. The Porch looks very nice. I quess your finally getting your way through BAT. Twrecks - The comment about those houses across the street was highlighting the fact that here, in Australia we had similar type of houses and i was trying to make that point, McMansions and all.
-
Looking good Beebs, i think the window textures are almost there, just tone down the black on the frame work of the windows becuase otherwise they stand out a little to much. That my opinion though ultimately the decision lies with you. Nice work, and don't forget.... Cooming soon, Lot Editor (Enter scary music)

Beebs, they are more pinky and i meant the ones around the windows and doors silly. I know that the drainpipes where there, i quess i didnt explain it well. But know that you pointed it out the drainpipes do look good. The roof darkening has also got rid of the concrete look aswell.
-
Nice work Beebs! You did the windows, i cant imagine all that pain but i know your whining Now one little point, the roof to me now almost looks a bit like concrete blocks but i do love the brck standing out and the red highlights around the edges. I dont think it really needs those drainpipes becuase it looks good already, now just lot it already and upload it .

Nice work Rawr. I like your daytime downtwon picture with the statue surrounded by the tall buildings and for some reason the highway in the bottom of the picture.
-
Beebs that is great! Although for realism sake the wood should be more blue if its modelled off the first house I like the texturing and the window already. The bricks work on the gargae walls also looks great. Now finish of the last bits, lot it and upload it cus i want it . Great work, and about time to.

I like the houses Beebs, they look almost exactly the same as new ones being built all the way down here . Keep it up, i wanna see textures.

Duke, you really need to stop analysing every little thing! Geez, you actually worked that all out? But then again your opinions are always well though out. Anywayz congrat to you and dear Boggy1, for all your sleeping in the chat. -
Ohh, pretty colours! Nice photoshopping beebs. Happy New Year!
-
Because of the world is divided into timezones we all reach the new year at different times (and this year there is a leap second). I happen to be in one of the first major cities to welcome in the new year, Sydney, Australia. The idea is that when you have reached the new year to post on here to celebrate the new year(hopefully a good one for all). So when you have reached '09 the idea is to post it here. As it is only 1-2 hours for most of the Pacific Islands and New Zealand i hope anyone out there posts soon and we get a "wave" of post as the world enters the new year. If you want, tell us what you did! HAPPY NEW YEAR from Sydney and the rest of the East Coast of Australia. Welcome to '09 folks!

Nice suburbs and downtown! Even though it's not my cup of tea i just want to say how nice it looks. I like the concrete misery downtown though.
-
I disagree Duack, in the US alot of the rich people fled to the out skirts and semi-rural properties, the inner city areas tend to be slums/ghetto which a large majority tend to be immigrants.

Rather than increase the tax on petrol as a whole just increase the price on unefficient vehicles, like SUVs, but dont put it on utes and small trucks that alot of farmers rely on. I dont really think that a 4x4 in the city or suburbs is really that neccesary and if you want a nice car just buy an european which can be powerful and suprisingly efficient, or gasp, a station wagon (Side-note, bring them back). You have to attack those that drive them in the cities where you dont need one. As for poor people stuck with them, bring down the taxes for them elsewhere. The need is to make cleaner tech more viable. A flat tax is on petrol is not the answer. Here the luxury tax on cars was increased but if it was an efficient vehicle the tax kicked in at a higher price level( which prompted alot of makers consider sending more of their diesel cars here). We do make cars here (Australia), Ford, GM (under the Holden brand-Opal/Vuxhual in Europe) and Toyota but unfortunately alot of them are V6 gas guzzlers. The government is still cutting taxes on imports as part of FTA agreements but will sponsor green car iniatives. Toyota just got 35 Million to help them build Prius cars here and GM got some to produce a four cylinder car here (even though by the time it comes out, after 2012 8.8 litres per 100kms wont be that great) and Ford will produce some small cars here. Simply flat taxes don't work and public transport does work Duack, you probably have bad experiences, i know i do, but thats becuase the government has spent the last 15 years ignoring all infrastructure, and i dont want to open that can of worms, i could go on for ever.

The key thing that's wrong with Tampa/St Pete...
Deathtoall replied to Duke87's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Hmm looks good, but i dont like how the red line goes from St Peters, over to Tampa and back again. That could be just me. I also dont like how the orange line is in a C-shape, without being a loop, it should be connected in a loop to also solve the problem of the up/down routes in St Peters being to close to the Tampa side, or connect the red line up or connect both of them up. Wether it is actually economically feasible and the population could sustain what i said is another matter. My knowledge of Tampa/St Peters is one entry Busch Gardens -
Britain the cause of Zimbabwe's cholera crisis?
Deathtoall replied to belfastuniguy's topic in Current Events
Hmm, maybe Mugabe caused Cholera? Then again Mugabe wins in Zimbabwe. Seriously though, talk about delusion. Why would Britain invade unless they wanted something like diamonds, i mean England honestly wants the dump that Zimbabwe has become? I hope people in Zimbabwe can see right through. The only way to bring Mugabe down is a total country-wide strike or revolt or a invasion by another nation. Which for the stability of Southern Africa, has to happen. -
Oh now, the last thing we need is a evil co-oporation running an money-hungry EA. I can see it now already, High School Musical 10, Build the School! The HSM theme runs well with EA's Need for Speed copy and paste approach. This just leaves its self open to so many lame spoofs, Need for Speed Pluto Racing Underground, Duckhammer, Battlemouse 2142, GTM? (Grand Team Mickey, i know what you were thinking) And Duack, you mean a simcity5, not 6, there isnt a 5 validating a 6.
