I have the exact same problem except I have two ore mines and two trade depots. whenever I use the trade depot my trucks disappear and I never get anything sold. before I used to just delete one of the resource containers and switch it with something else but that doesn't seem to work anymore either. When you find out could you let me know. Thanks

i have had the same problem trying to get rid off all the homeless sims around the city. One way I figured out was that you need to isolate most of them in one spot and delete the road(s) connecting it to the region. eventually they disappear. Not sure if this always works but give it a shot.
