Recently started playing SimCity again, and this is one of the few mods I have installed. One thing I've noticed, not sure what it's caused by, but it makes the airport unusable. Well, not unusable, but un-addonable. Meaning I cannot plop a freight terminal or passenger terminal at all when I'm using this mod. I'm only assuming it's this mod, as this mod is really the only one I have installed that changes anything in my game. Other mods I have installed are the ones that show how many workers in a building and whatnot, and one other one, I think the extended budget one. So, nothing major, so I assume it's this one causing the issues with the airport. I am uninstalling and will try it again later, see if it's any better without it installed.

Trade Port Shipping Issues
RootBeerTuna replied to bz2king's topic in SimCity (2013) Technical Help Q&A
You don't even need delivery trucks to deliver to your local industry such as a coal power plant or oil power plant. Trucks from those places will come to your trade depot/port to pick up the materials. Really the only reason you have trucks is to ship stuff out faster, but even then they don't really make a difference. And you don't 'need' to have your trade port set at use locally for your power plants to use the materials, you just shouldn't have it at Export or else it'll export all of it without any getting to your power plants. I also highly recommend looking at Skye Storms YouTube channel, he has some extremely helpful 60 second tip videos as well as his segregation videos. -
So how do I get the "out of Money" problem under control?
RootBeerTuna replied to DrBob75's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Same, but I'm still going to play it because I have nothing else to do. My edumacation system is screwed up now too. In a city with close to 9,000 students, I can only get a max of 2,200 at my university. And if I plop more than one of the same type of school they all start going to the new one and stop going to the old one so my attendance plummets. Very frustrating! -

I too had this same problem, then I read some of the suggestions in this post, applied them to my cities, and problem solved! At least until this morning when I started a city just for education and residential. I started having this problem very early on, when I was under 2,000 sims. So I started adding commercial and industrial, eventually ending up with a ratio of probably 20/30/50 R/C/I. So I bulldozed the whole city, gifted myself a few million and started over from scratch. I had almost the entire map full of just residential with a smattering of commercial thrown in and was going fine. Started upgrading my roads from low density to medium and bam, pretty much every second block of residential started giving me the out of money complaint. So I proceeded to dezone and rezone industrial or commercial, and I'm still having problems. Now I'm also getting the unskilled workers complaint in my high tech industrial, even though I have 100% enrollment with all the schools and about 5 libraries. I am also at my wits end, though I'm not ready to give up just yet. Especially since I never really got into Simcity 4, though I do have it installed. Maybe I'll give it a shot, see what I missed. -
My buddy was having the exact same issues. He just bought a brand new computer along with Simcity about two weeks ago and it was crashing constantly. I suggested he try updating his drivers, which he did, and he hasn't had any issues since. I'm not saying this will fix everyone's problems, but at least check to see how current your drivers are, especially for your video card. The other thing you could try, which I did pre-2.0 update when I was having issues with the game crashing, is try a different server. I found North America West 1 & 2 to be very unstable, so I switched to North America East 1, and I haven't had any crashes or any lost cities. If it was server problems for me, they could be fixed by now, so for some of you it might not fix any of your issues. But it's at least worth trying.

Road connection problem ( 2.0 )
RootBeerTuna replied to Titan's topic in SimCity (2013) Technical Help Q&A
My issue isn't with the highway, but for some reason it's telling me my train station isn't connected. It's on the part of the rails you can't bulldoze so I can't see why it's say it's not connected. Unless for some stupid reason there is a region with a map that has a railroad connected to nothing else. -

Time bar stops counting or is completely blank

It's not just you, I've been having this same problem for a few days now. But the only the way to fix it for me is by actually quitting the game, not going back to the main menu and reloading the city. It's getting very annoying.
