The sims are idiots, it's the only way to explain how I can have residential buildings abandoned right next to commercial ones due to commute time, like, do you need jobs across town when you could walk to one, are you too stupid to use my massive subway system, and how is there ANY unemployment when there are more commercial jobs than people, in addition to industrial jobs which number 15 % of the residential population. I will wait with baited breath for someone to crack sc5 once it comes out, in spite of whatever it lacks, it seems like it will bring the intellegent sim.

My first SC4 city was a slum as well, one half was industry, the other half was crime, and the third half was pollution, MY WATER WAS BLACK, three halfs, cause it was 150% dyfunctional, the only thing that was working was the budget, just barely, then like an idiot I downloaded a city, put it next 2 my slum, clicked reconcile edges, and BAM, I was suddenly 24 K in the red and had no bride, half my industry and most power had been destroyed, the clouds of brown air were the only sign of life, I accomplished this horror in 4 hours, then when I was an idiot and destroyed it I deleted it in a rage, my current city has a pop of 100K and 1.5billion dollars, thank to money parks.
