Thanks Mandelsoft, I hope it will work! Now I wish Dell hadn't upgraded me to an i7! Ha! I know it's all a private project, but do you guys think it will eventually be compatible with my processor? I'm so excited to try the older NAM too, I have never had any plugins like that before. Edit: the older version works The controller program though won't start from the desktop... But I'll play around with all the tools now to get a better understanding. Thank you again!.... Now... I only have to wait until my kids nap haha!

Is there an older version I could successfully use? I'm a first timer when it comes to the NAM. And sicne the new SimCity is awful, I'm all about sc4 now.

Is there a solution for me? I installed the NAM today on my SC4 deluxe (amazon version, recent, up to date) on my win8 i7 machine. once I started SC4 and clicked on a city, it just froze in the loading window. After I deinstalled the NAM it worked again. Something on my PC isn't agreeing with it, would you have any idea what it is? Thank you so much

I have SC4 Deluxe, recently purchased on Amazon as download so it has all the updates. I eagerly installed the new NAM today and SC4 loads my region, then I double click on the city and it gets stuck (where those lines appear like "deleting ferry routes" blabla). It's rather frustrating. Is there anyone who knows how to solve the issue? I'm running Win8 on an i7 (and I did the thing about running it on one processor only). Thank you!!!

I have played SimCity since the very first game. I love SC4 and still play it. I didn't buy SimCity2013 because of all the things the beta players already pointed out. I also didn't buy it as I have absolutely no interest in multiplayer gaming nor an always internet-on gameplay where I can't even save on my disk. I play by myself, I want to fill my own region. I certainly wouldn't buy it for that ridic amount for not delivering what it should have. I feel they should have stayed with the SC4 concept, updating it with more details (different road types, better God mode, more public buildings, more ordinance options and such), better graphics, curved streets.... Now the PR is horrid. Classic crisis PR. Just spin it. It never does you any good as most people can see through it. They should come out and apologize and fix the game. But that won't happen as selling a faulty product now is cheaper than fixing it.... I hope in the future some other company will acquire rights to SimCity and develop a really good SC6.

I haven't played in years and just got Simcity 4 (deluxe) back up and running. I came across this website and wow there are so many things I can download. I don't know where to start! There is so much in the STEX and it is confusing. I'm interested in terraforming tools and new trees, to make those rivers and such, btu I can't find the exact tool(s). Your cities look so beautiful and I'd love the new trees and better landscape tools. Also, I'm running SC4 on Windows 8 (the pro or ultimate version, I forget). I downloaded it from Amazon and it works well and I'm worried if I add on, will it freak out? I thew away my CD version years ago when it wouldn't work on Windows7 (at least the download was only $14 hahaha!). I know some people are experiencing issues with Win8.
