I watched them build the casino city today... I think it showed that just by plopping stuff down your not going to make any money. Your cities are going to need to be well thought out and planned or your going to fail. They had a grasp on how to play the game and still couldn't get their casino's profitable in the 4 hours of gameplay they had. Granted, it was more of a PR stunt than city building but I think it shows the game has some difficulty to it. -
A Couple Questions and a opinion
Chuck Juice replied to SGTMECKP's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
2. Yes, they increase automatically provided their needs are met and the road type allows for expansion. 3. Yes, there is a road upgrade tool. However roads can't be upgraded to avenues. That would require a complete demolish and rebuild. -

Leaked SimCity Game Manual
Chuck Juice replied to buttonhead's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Simcity's Facebook page had a picture of a regional airport which was freaking huge by the looks of it. It looks like you have to sacrifice a decent chunk of your city if you want it. Additionally I do believe that having a city with a regional airport in it is a prerequisite for constructing the international airport great work. -
Clan/Guild Potential Discussion
Chuck Juice replied to WNxWakko's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Competition makes everything better. The clan/guild aspect of it would add on another layer of it to the gameplay and I can't see that being a bad thing. -
Marketing at its finest. The success of the sims has been huge. Of course they would try to bridge the two games and draw in some of that crowd, they would be fools not to. Releasing a game that only appeals to the hardcore fans does not a profit make.
