I've heard of train fever and the game looks brilliant after watching a few videos/images

I agree, simcity is much more complex in terms of agents than Cities in Motion 2. Plus, Cities in Motion 2 is being built with Unity3D, and that solves everything! Glad you liked it. We really need more forum participants and interests. ;D EDIT: I like some of the things they've been adopting from Simcity, however, I do not like the fact that road types partially dictate the density of it's nearby buildings.

Yes, you can in fact plant trees. They exceed well in covering up your cities industries, sewage works and dumps. Furthermore, trees can make the city look really nice; at harmony with nature for no cost. Parks > Nature > Go to the end

What are you looking more forward too?

Simcity or Cities in Motion 2 I understand it may be a little favored towards Simcity, hence, we're in a simcity forum :3 Cities in Motion 2

Yeah... The Simish language drives me nuts! It just reinforces the fact that Maxis is aiming for a younger audience. Probably reflected by all the dumbing down...

The only reason CitiesXL failed, and why you should care, including Maxis and there Master EA

I've got that game... Terrible. Would be better if it was actually optimized. -
Simcity was a simple game gone too simple now in SC2013 lol... based on how CIM is going i think they could build a nice city game with their engine - maybe one day. True... But it's not their engine; it's Untiy3D, and it's most undoubtedly one of the best there is. More so, it's free! If Collosal Order made a city simulation game (which I could probably predict with where they're going with Cities in Motion) they will unwittingly beat EA if they had the publicity.
