Hi leemonk, Try everything that Nomis said. Bus stations near train stations or public garages help. BUT, the most important thing is that the track has to cross the station from behind it (the platform), and the front should be facing the road. ex: II ==> |I| (II) being the railroad, (==> being the station, and (|I|) the road. It may sound so obvious, and you may have known it already, but when I started SC4 after Sc3000, I didn't know about the positioning. Given that in sc3000 the stations worked either way.
