UPDATE: The lot doesn't play the tune from another lot now! XD Better yet, it plays the right sound now! ^^; Well, I wasn't too big of a fan of Stardog13 and company's Large Freight Yard, as it lacked a good number of props, so I made this. A few people noticed it some screenshots I've posted of other things before, and have asked me about it, so here it is! Basically, it's just a freight station modded to be able to be plopped on a rail network. I seemed to get a twinkle in my eye when I saw the Grand Train Station included with Rush Hour, so this inspired me, as did the Large Freight yard, and Qbert2's tutorial on how to enable lots to have networks dragged through them. So, big kudos to Stardog13 (And everyone who helped him on that lot) and Qbert2! ^^; Well, nothing much was modded with this station, except for some costs and numbers. Plop: $1650 Bulldoze: $10 Power: 100 Read: And, you'll need to download and install the Large Freight Yard by Stardog13 (https://www.simtropolis.com/lots/lots.cfm?Str=Stardog13), or at least get the textures from it. Otherwise, you'll be missing a lot of Overlay textures from this lot. And, this lot ***MAY*** have a custom query sound. Last I checked, I couldn't get it to work, but I fixed it, and I haven't bothered to check it in the game yet, so I'm not sure. If it does, and you've heard it, PLEASE let me know I did something right! You also need the train car props by Gizmo28. And, this lot requires Rush Hour, as the network enabled lots were introduced in Rush Hour, and without it, this lot won't function properly. Have fun everyone! -

Well, I made these a few days back seeing as I only had spots in my city to put 1 tile lots. Seeing as my city was already infested with parks, and lacked some police and five coverage in certain areas, I deicded to make 1 tile lots of the police and fire stations. Now, by looking at the screenshots, yes, both lots feature the fire station building. Well, the small police precint building was 2x2, so that wouldn't work. The best way to tell the two lots apart -- the police station's building is always to the far right of the tile, where as the fire station building is always to the far left of the tile. Fire Station (1x1) ------------------ Plop Cost: 250 Simoleans Monthly Cost: 125 Simoleans Trucks: 1 Police Station (1x1) -------------------- Plop Cost: 250 Simoleans Monthly Cost: 125 Simoleans Patrol cars: 1 Cells: 8 Again, nothing spectacular. Just another one of my "creations." Hope you like it, and again, ratings and comments are more than appreciated! -

Well, these are basically like the fire station and police station 1x1 lots that I made earlier. Except of course, they have their normal functions. These lots are basically just edited so that they take upmonly 1 tile, which can be VERY helpful in many cramped cities. Clinic ------ Plop Cost: 325 Monthly Cost: 325 Capacity: 500 patients Library ------- Plop Cost: 750 Books: 10,000 Hope you like them! Comments and ratings are more than appreciated! -

Well, like the title says, this is a set of 10 lots that I made originally for myself to fill a large area that I wished to put in many trees (Very densely). However, I decided to release them here for whatever reason (Mainly because I noticed that the latest lot before mine was posted 2 days ago. x.x) Anyway, there are 3 1x1 lots with trees on them (To help avoid repition besides rotating the lot.), 2 different 2x2 lots with trees, and 2 different 3x3 lots. In addition to those 7 lots, there is a 1x1 lot with a family having a barbeque, a 1x1 lot with a small restroom facility, and then a 2x2 lot with a restroom*. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this set, as I really appreciated the beautifacation that my city recieved with the addition of these lots to my city, even though I created them myself. Anyway, thanks for even looking at this, and remember... READ THE README! lol EDIT: This zip has no had the passwords removed. It should work properly now. Sorry 'bout that. -
Wow! Beautifully done! Question though: Where in the heck are all those cars in the bottom right hand corner of the second mosiac off to?

Wow! Those farms are fantastic! And the rural paths compliments them so well! Nice mix there, Jeroni! Everything you do makes you such a great CJ author. You always respond to people's comments (At least when time is available. ), you answer their questions... And these almost, if not always daily updates... Wow! And to think you also lead a decent life... Wow! I'm amazed, Jeroni! Keep up the greeeeeeeeeat work!

Wow, Jeroni... Those pictures are amazing. I'm speechless, to be honest! [:0] I love what you've done with that small section of the island. Its magnificant, and I'd love to live there! EVERYTHING looks perfect, and is exactly what I'd look for in a community! That train station is great looking too! Do you know the author by chance? Keep up the great CJ!

Date: 5/1/2005 10:11:25 PM Author: CycleDogg comdude: that doesn't surprise me. I originally made that mod specifically for the Columbus terrain. Probably the scale factor is off too. I'll try to post an update of one of the files to the 'Cycledogg's terrain mod' thread in the next couple of days. quote> CycleDogg, have you updated the terrain modifications? I too had the same problem, and I've been waiting for a fix. If you did fix it, can you provide a link? I made some wonderful cities with the help of the Burnt woods God-mode tree mod. The trees are stunning with their beauty! When I get the fixed terrain mod, it'll be PERFECT. Thanks. PK

WOW! Jeronij, this this keeps getting more spectacular and amazing with every last picture! Keep up the WONDERFUL work! One question though... The CD (CycleDogg, correct?) mods that you used for your landscape -- you wouldn't happen to have a link to them on-hand, would you? They make your landscapes look so amazingly realistic, and I'd love to produce some cities with that realism effect. I searched all of CD's posts, and was unable to find anything. Again, keep up the marvelous work!

Wow! Awesome! Dirk, that really rocks! 5/5 Bunnies! Anyways, I also think it'd be nice if it changed with the seasons. Needs a bright sunshine in the summer... If it'd be possible to get a script going... you could have something for all the seasons. Spring would have mostly that nice light cloudy sky we saw, and a chance of a slight rain shower. Summer -- sun and T-Storms... Fall, leaves falling, etc. Or maybe I'm just taking this too far. Good job, Dirk. I'm lovin' it!

One questions though: The Pedestrian mall overpass end pieces appear in my game as red, blue and green boxes stacked on top of each other? Is this correct or am i missing some dependencies..??quote> Yes, this is correct. No elevator could be BAT'd at the time, so the creators of the puzzle pieces improvised. :-P

Date: 4/9/2005 3:02:49 PM Author: jeronij As you can see, I have made minor changes keeping in mind some of your suggestions. Some are too late, Pkmnrulz240, and the lots will appear at the start of the miscellaneous transportation menu. I have removed half of the benchs in the white version, but if you think there are still too many, fell fre to edit the lot and remove them.quote> Ah, well, can't please em all, can ya? They look great! Can't wait to try them out! GJ jeronij! These are something that I'll use in almost every city of mine!

Wow!!! jeronij, this city journal is something that you don't find that often. This is pure brilliance, my friend! It IS like visiting another country, minus the cost of travel, food, and lodging. Those trail park lots of yours are spectacular as well! Please release them! I believe you are right though, putting them in a set that you can tab through would be a great idea, but it just isn't possible. Someone explained it in another thread. Only network lots can be turned into tab-able menus like the NAM and original interchanges from SimCity 4 has. I'd say for now, release them as 2 individual sets of 12, and keep them in the parks menu. My misc. transport menu is cluttered too. I'd rather have an extra-long parks menu than 2 long menus... Whatever you do... Well, just keep up the great work!!!

Don't bother using KBI files... we've got .dat files we can create now that are like patches, but don't have to edit anything in the original SimCity .dats. I'm not sure where you'd get a patcher nowadays, however.

Date: 11/7/2004 1:25:04 PM Author: eroseu I'm sorry, but with the change from simtropolis site i can't find the NAM download file. I have a previous one but i want the last one and can't find it. Can someone help me?quote> http://www.ftc.net.au/tropod/NAM%20Update%20Details.htm Wasn't looking 2 pages back hard?

Date: 10/31/2004 4:44:26 PM Author: iMacWin95 GREAT TROPOD!!! Just a wonder, there seems to be a remote problem in UDI where if you're in the inside of a highway in a curve, sometimes, and it doesn't appear to happen frequently, you get bumped into the next lane. I've personally encountered that only once, but it always happened in the same place, every single time. . Is it possible to fix that? And btw, when's the next stable release of the NAM coming out? (Roughly)quote> Wait... so, if you've only encountered it once, how do you know that it happens every single time?
