Just out of curiosity.... I've been to "People with A.I.D.S." Plaza countless of times, and I've always wondered, is there any special meaning behind it? Does A.I.D.S. stand for something else other than Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome?

It's cute in theory, but you got to sit down and figure out if this is what suits your needs. Personally, I couldn't live with a Netbook, since I need a full "pro" laptop at all times. But if this is something that suits your needs, I think it's a great option.

(Yeah, I'm a dual Architecture & Interior Design student ) It's a Macbook Pro, with OS X Leopard and Windows Vista (for SimCity 4 and AutoCAD). As much as I prefer OS X as my primary OS, I honestly don't see what's wrong with Vista. Edit: @toxicpiano: Is that tape covering the cam on your iMac? .... and I thought I was paranoid.

My biggest pet peeve with the internet is the fact that it is being detrimental to the spelling and grammar of today's society. LOLSpeak = "Newspeak" from 1984. I'm also not too fond of Wikipedia as well. There are so many great places to get PRIMARY sources. Books are still a tremendous gold mine of information. I must agree that Wikipedia is a good place to start doing preliminary research, since it can lead you into the right direction. [Talking about books, I hate how now the cool thing to do is bash books and call "nerds" to those that actually read and want to broaden their intellectual horizon]. Other than that, the internet should be about having harmless fun and enriching your life, but your life shouldn't revolve around it [checking myspace every 5 seconds instead of actually visiting or calling your friends]. Ok, I'm done for now. Good thread.

Look on the positive side. In a few years you'll be in a place that they will never reach . In middle school I was enlisted in the Gifted program, and the people there were bitter, mean, jealous, childish, etc... and the teachers didn't even care. The best thing to do is ignore it. If someone gives you a hard time, ignore them. Don't give them the satisfaction of giving them a reaction. When you go to High School, try as hard as you can to find a magnet school. I went to an International Baccalaureate school that was an hour away from where I lived, and I could not had been any happier. The school had no fights, no bullying, and everyone was always at your level. So, in conclusion, hang in there!

If you look at them from that view, then you are not going to get anything out of them. They are actually pretty essential in the process of electing someone that will properly run the Country.

Florida isn't really known for it's Architecture schools. A good one is at Florida International University in Miami, but the rest of the school isn't that great. I transferred from there to Miami International University in Downtown Miami, but they only offer Interior Architecture/Interior Design. If you prefer Interiors, MIU is a great choice.

Wow you guys have done some amazing stuff. I'm waiting for the new iMacs to come out (since the current ones are past their cycles) so I can get the high end one and with boot camp, truly get the full SC4 experience . My current PC is starting to show its age, and I don't want to pollute my laptop with Windows. I will definitely try all the tips!!!!

With that out, AMAZING CJ!!!! I just recently visited the southwest, and this is actually pretty accurate. You are doing a great job planning it, and I sure hope to see more!!!

Next month i'm moving to my new apartment in Brickell Key, which is right next to Downtown Miami.
