I'm pretty new here, so please bear with me. But I'm proud to present to you my first city journal:
Since the dawn of written history Pandorans across all ages have been fixated on our twin world, known as Janus in Caliban speaking territories. For thousands of years people all over the globe have been studying, theorizing and deifying our neighbors in search of answers. It's only natural really, Pandorans are a naturally curious species, at times to our own fault. In recent times with the rapid progression of science, governments have proposed expiditions to Janus in hopes of collecting resouces and colonizing, with faint hopes of making contact with even the smallest of alien species. This progress has been met with stiff resistance from religious leaders, who view the planet as the sacred home of the gods and should not be invaded by mortal souls.
We'd spend days exploring my hometown of Ravenholm, a suburb of what some call the unoffical capital of the Federation, Fairweather. Sometimes my friends and I would climb on top of the apartment building that we lived in and throw balloons and pillows and unsuspecting, hapless victims below. As I grew older though I began to see beauty in my surroundings and decided to take a photograph.
This was just one of hundreds I took on a trip around the city I took with my friends before we all went off to our respective colleges.
Another, this time taken in Fairweather proper of the Heartcamp Building and the Fairweather Bay Bridge, known locally as the Red Hot Twins. As you can see rain clouds were gathering in the late afternoon sky and we had to return home hastily.
