There was an option to not install Riva in EVGA installation pack (version 4.2.0) and I didn't install it because I also couldn't get FPS to show up in OSD when playing SC4 in windowed mode. I don't even have the framerate monitoring option in EVGA since I didn't install Riva. Instead I've been using Fraps to monitor the framerate and EVGA's limiter is clearly working without Riva. I haven't touched anything else in EVGA except enabled the Frame Rate Target option in main screen and set the adjustment bar to 60. I'm loading SC4 with switches -CustomResolution:enabled -w -r1680x1050x32.

I've been using EVGA Precision X with my Asus NVidia Geforce GTX 660 card and it works fine on windowed mode too. It propably works with any vendor's card and with other versions of nvidia series like 9800GT, atleast the frame limiter part of it. I don't know how it actually hooks itself to drivers or whatever, but you don't have to bother loading it every time you want use the limiter. Just adjust it once and it'll be there even after reboot, until you uninstall the program or update your display drivers after which you have to make the adjustment once again. Downloading it from EVGA's site requires registration but you can find legally distributed downloads elsewhere with quick google search.

widescreen shortcut not working for me
nakki replied to gboxerlove's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
I'm not sure if you mean your game is not launching at all or it's launching with wrong resolution, but try adding -f (for fullscreen) or -w (for windowed mode). Otherwise your command line is correct. -
Have you used the correct format for SimDate cheat? "SimDate [Value] - changes the in-game date to the value you entered, this is useful for testing seasonal props. Use a date after 12/31/1999 in the format SimDate 12 31 1999." If the game was on pause when entering the date you need to unpause to see the change. I once tried the time cheat in couple of cities and noticed that atleast the data view graphs were messed up. I don't know if there are other things that would get weird in game if you force the date to jump back or forth, maybe not, but just in case I wouldn't use it if I wanted to grow a healthy and balanced city.

High CO$$$ demand, no development
nakki replied to Caligula37's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I suppose you have CAM installed since your demand graph goes that high? I had similar problem after installing CAM and found an explanation and fix on SC4Devotion forums. Try searching "no CO$$$ development" there, the fix was attached on one of a posts. (You must register to see the attachments). -
These are five sets of modern concrete walls with varying textures from clean to grassy/mossy. (You need to register before download): http://sc4devotion.c....php?lotGET=131 Sometimes it's easier to search straight from google with "walls" site:https://simtropolis.com/files/ for example.

rivit's Street and Rail Mods - Support Thread
nakki replied to rivit's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
Hi, First, to Rivit, thanks for this mod - no more digging canyons for road/owr tunnel entrances. The previous fix for owr entrance solved that one graphical problem, but I noticed another problem: Changing direction of an existing 7.5m OWR tunnel (also dragged using this tunnelmod) doesn't work - the paths at the entrance tile won't change their directions. Since this is possible with in-game default OWR tunnels I wonder if it could be possible with this mod too? I've had to use that option often enough because it's not always possible to drag a new tunnel from either direction but only from the other one. EDIT: Nevermind about that problem, I just realised that the paths are fixed only after save&exit - in default tunnels too.
