Conflicts and Bugs This mod has been tested with the latest version of the Network Add-on Mod (Jan. '07). This mod may not display the RHW or ANT transport types. ! This mod will conflict with any other region transport legend modifications. Usage You may use this mod however you please. You may also re-release this file, however, you must ask for permission from myself if you plan to include any of the following items with your re-release: -

Also make sure that you have no previously installed legend mods as these may conflict. Try renaming your plugins folder to Plugins1, create a new folder called Plugins, and just put the HammoRTLM.dat file into that folder. Start the game and if the plugin works then theres is a conflict with one of your currently installed plugins. If you have any more trouble please PM me and I will do my best to help. :)

Problems like this have happened before. One of the most obvious problems is this - SimCity on its own sucks up resources, so having a media player like WMP or iTunes running at the same time will suck up even more resources. I highly recommend that if your music is in mp3 format that you just copy them over to the SimCity Radio folder. The SimCity Radio folder is at C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Radio\Stations\Mayor\Music\. Put your MP3s in there and then in SimCity go onto your sound options and make sure 'Custom Tunes' is ticked. I find its best to untick all of the default tracks too. You're music will now play from within SimCity and with me personally I haven't experienced any slower gameplay, apart from zooming in and out of large cities whilst they're running. Other than that your music should play fine and at the right speed. If they're not in MP3 then you should change the playing speed to 0.5x. That way its at half speed, so if it doubles the speed when SimCity is on, it should now double it to 1x, and sound normal. Hope this helps.

Something wrong I see with the SCJU
hammo replied to jmjselect's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I would add my two cents to what the SCJU is, except it has been so clearly described already. I think now you can see that it is far from the US, and is more likened to the EU, comprising of member nations whose representatives vote and have cross-union laws. The structure of the union is practically a European Union clone, just modified a bit to improve it. Personally, if it did work like the US, I doubt I would have joined back when it was first created. -
Good start Fox. Can't wait to see the city and surrounding areas. Definetely one for the favourites list. Good luck.

Everyone says to just not open any attachments that you don't recognize. Yeah, that will stop a lot of viruses, but that won't stop the viruses that are actually worth the trouble that the creator went to in making it. When specifically referring to the Kama Sutra worm you DO need to open an attachment in order to run the script so not opening attachments in e-mails in this case is the exact right thing to do. Like I have said, this worm has been blown out of all proportion and doesn't warrant the worry it seems to be causing. End of the matter.

The virus overwrites files, specifically Microsoft Office files, which is a perfectly simple virus. Basically by overwriting the contents of a Microsoft Office file with anything, like the word HELLO, it will render the file useless and you won't be able to open it. Also, unlike deleted files there is no ORIGINAL copy to restore, as the original is the copy being overwritten. The virus is being blown out of all proportion and is more than likely just a leaked piece of information to cause this very sort of panic. Simple solution: DO NOT OPEN EMAILS FROM AN UNTRUSTED SOURCE AND NEVER RUN ATTACHMENTS IN EMAILS UNLESS YOU KNOW THE PERSON AND THE FILE.

Welcome back in the New Year. A long time has pasted since I have posted any update or even played on SC4 - mainly due to Christmas, New Year, getting things sorted and a small mis-hap with a server (hence all the missing pictures). But now, I present to you the latest award winning newspaper in its new form. Coming soon: We catch up with Sunset Beach in the North and take a little suprise trip elsewhere!

Not exactly a Christmas special or even an update... but instead a Christmas edition of the National Press newspaper. I'd also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you all in 2006!

I haven't been here in such a long time, but still your CJ is looking excellent as per usual! I'm really curious as to where you got those row houses from - they are very suited to Chaumont. Keep up the fabulous work! -
It's been a long time since any update, but at the moment it's difficult to find time to myself - never mind play SC4! http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_IslandMap.png align=baseline border=1> The City of Kaneone has had relatively good transport links with two airports and a central rail station which links to both the Northern and Southern Mainline. The newly updated rail station will also have a completely new line. The CityLink line runs between Mililani and Kaneone and will give commuters in the capital a fast link to Mililani's New Kings Station with rail access to the Northern, Western and Southern Mainlines. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_CentralStation.jpg align=baseline border=1> As well as the Central Rail Station in Kaneone, the Kaneone City Airport offers domestic (regional) flights across the nation. This is the 2nd airport in the city, although it is far smaller than Kaneone International Airport which has 3 terminals and is due to be expanded. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_CityAirport.jpg align=baseline border=1> The centre of the city's downtown, King's Square, has seen a new office building next to the Central Underground station. The Central Underground station is also the connecting point of the city's two underground rail links. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_KingsSquare.jpg align=baseline border=1> Close to King's Square is the brand new Ministry of Defence building. Known as Knight's House the MoD building holds both the nation's Ministry of Defence and acts as the HQ for the SCJU Ministry of Defence. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_KnightsHouseMOD.jpg align=baseline border=1> In order to expand the transport links within the city a new motorway, the M4, was constructed. The M4 Junction below leads to the Kaneone International Airport which is soon to be expanded. The new airport sign lights up the path to the airport before turning onto the bridge. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_M4Airport.jpg align=baseline border=1> The North of the City, a mainly residential area, has also received massive re-development with these new office buildings which line the M4 Motorway. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_NorthOffices.jpg align=baseline border=1> However, these offices are relatively small compared to the heart of the city surrounding King's Square, which plays host to the city's top commercial and financial buildings. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_Offices.jpg align=baseline border=1> http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_Offices2.jpg align=baseline border=1> Below is the West of the city with the CityTravel HQ (operators of the AireSuenos airline) and the Canada Building which houses many top businesses. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_Skyline.jpg align=baseline border=1> Amongst these high-rise buildings is the national headquarters of Swiss RE company. http://www.x2digital.net/cj/Kaneone_Nov05_Skyline2.jpg align=baseline border=1> That's it for now, next update coming from Sunset Beach on the Northern most point of the island. Hope you enjoyed the update!

Looks nice Pip. Nice to see a new larger airport coming along, would be even better to see you build a custom one. Speaking of airports... Those Cordovian Airways commercial jets you ordered (the Aeroen 300's) are ready for you. Pick them up at reception.
