Got the same problem, ithink my AVG deleted, in the properties "C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4\Apps\SimCity 4.exe", however the exe is gone. Do i have to reinstall it?

Windows vista, yeah it was the settings, changed it now and it works alright. It's Windows Vista, the game works fine, the only slowness is when it speed up time, but it doesn't last long. The longest iv'e run it is 30 minutes and no issues. Due you think changing it to a minimised screen works better? Thanks , the werid thing is, on my other laptop which is alot newer, got in 2010 is broke but kept crashing when playing sim city 4.

Here is mine, still along way to go. The Downtown area of Langstone Bay is going to be 90% plop and eye candy. It's my first proper attempt, though I will make lots of changes to the size of the area. Note the area i circled, how can i put something under it? i dont want grass, i want something like the plaza textures. Also i dont like the bus stops, its kinda naff i know. The Pylons are there for temp though. Id like to get feedback if thats ok

Im using the patch 1,1,638,0 and NAM does work because it woulnt work if i had the patch installed. ​I got a screenshot of traffic and the screenshot after, so it seems all of it disappears With Intel R Celeron ® M CPU 520 1.60ghz RAM: 1.00gb 32 bit

It seems im a having problems with traffic, actually very little, there is no cars or trucks driving around from their homes and factories. The only ones i see are the vehicles like the garbage truck, cement trucks and police cars etc. Im thinking its something to do with the installation of NAM (the link is dead, support topic), iam not sure. the garbage trucks that i do see only shows when im at the closest 2 zoom levels.
