If you want a building with a lot of detail, i could give you a suggestion.... 30 wall street in NYC. world's tallest for about a week. ..But that Landmark Tower would be cool too, i like how it retains it's width to the top without getting slender, yet not being a box.

yeah i got it now. and the building size is too big to reduce the lot size. is there a way for me to change the lot size?

i think so...........-checks-

^about that. i tried it. and Lot Editor wouldn't open it. it gave me the ol' contains textures not viewable in LE bla bla. so unless i can change that fact, i can't change it on my own

in reference to the WTC Transit update, could you perhaps make the lot size a square or two smaller? it's larger than the blocks in my game and sticks out. maybe when the 'white square' is straightened you could do it?

Building Log: World Trade Center (Pre-9/11)

does final export mean it's on the BEX!!!?? i can never find out, it's been down so much lately. -
I love the towers. unlike most here. I've always wanted to see the 'hat' around the edges at each section like you have, and the black is sooo 70's. but that's good. ultra-modernistic. and i was gonna say it looked like 7 south dearborn. with the skylobbys and what not. all i can suggest is that in your nightlighting, have the lights 'break' on each floor. as it is, it's just a ring of light on the certain floors. break that up into individual squares of light.

frogface, i don't know if this is a problem with my game or what, but your tower developed(was very excited to see it rise!), but when completed it was an empty lot with props, but no building. maybe others have seen the same?

Calatrava really is a modern master of shadow, space and perception. It will be interesting to see how these things are portrayed in Sim City dimentions. I'll look forward to the progress. and i second the request for the WTC transit terminal. i believe it's relatively small compared to his other projects, with the above-ground floor only serving as an entrance. the main floor is below-ground.

IMO all that needs to be done is for the spotlights along the sides to be moved to a realistic spot(ie:starting at the bottom of the building), and the antenna to taper some before finishing instead of being straight up to the top. that's all! a very nice, polished building. esp. the tiny warning sign

^calm down we all want to see it, but it'll take, what, a whole day to render? wow. -

I agree with the above. very modern stadium(the only other modern one being the way-too-huge Korean one), and placement is great. whose parking lots are those btw?

Building Log: World Trade Center (Pre-9/11)

I think it would be best to have the buildings in their lighter color. They are so large, that having them in a dark color would make them seem even more unfriendly than their shape already does. And the lighter shade looks more inviting and 'new' as it was in the '70s. -
Joerg, perhaps you could exaterate(sp?) the angle of the roof to force it to show up more prominently? That would be better than not having this awesome model in our game, I think.

Ooh, the sunken plaza, soooo seventies. cold. i love it! i would suggest adding permanent concrete benches and perhaps a little 'artistic' statue-type thing in the center of the plaza. that's all it needs, really.
