I don't get computer stuff too much :,(. Thanks for the help guys! I am having lots that use BSC essential packs as dependencies. Also, before every launch of the game, I add like 1 or 2 plugins folders and am seeing if it crashes the games. I think I've added around 20 folders with around 50 folders in total including subfolders, and the game has been fine. Do you think it matters if I add files incrementally versus adding a lot of files at once? Or do you think I have been lucky and haven't added anything that has something wrong with it or haven't encountered that folder limit? By the way, just learned that you can't play SC4 on Mac without wifi on the plane today .

I took a bunch of files out except NAM and the BSC essentials, and it works fine now. It's just that I want more buildings from ST/Exchange but it will crash my SC4. Thanks for your replies by the way!

I didn't have any terrain mods though in my plugins folder

How do you know if a plugin is HD?

This issue may have been addressed before, but I couldn't find it. So I downloaded SC4 from the App Store recently and it works fine. Then I downloaded some things from ST/Exchange such as the NAM transportation add-ins and other buildings in the plugins and now SC4 is crashing. I can load the entire region and enter a city but then when I start the play button then the game freezes. I looked online and I heard that the amount of folders you have in plugins is the main limit and I heard that around 200 folders is the limit. I took files out of folders and took most of the inner folders out but still keeping the main folders in the plugins, thus, having around 50 folders in total and my game still crashed. I'm wondering what is happening? Currently, I only have like around 10 ST/Exchange downloads and I really want to add more buildings but SC4 keeps on crashing if I do.

Ya, Im having the same problem and I think it is because I have a 1.1.638.0 version instead of the 1.164.0 version. Your previous link did not tell me where exactly was the download, so can you please tell where exactly is the download located on the site?
