SIMS SAY, VICE NOT NICE! The sim citizens of Wallalei have had enough of the vice problem in their city. They have spoke and they want the red light district gone! Fearing that he may lose the faith of his sims (and the chance to return as mayor in next year's election), Mayor Lopez orders the demolition of what is left of the red light district. The citizens of Wallalei will be pleased to see that no longer are there seedy motels and sleezy strip joints in their city! Above is the remaining red light district; Red's Motel (rents weekly, daily, hourly), Club Deja Vu, Chippendales, and Lappers A Go Go before the demolition. And above is the new residential development over the previous area. The sims asked Mayor Lopez for a new and unique landmark, and he gave them the Kuwait Pavilion. Cobb Housing has already bought and started production on the former site. A STEEL GRAVEYARD? The skyline over downtown Wallalei has grown dark; once shining skyscrapers now stand vacant, dilapidating everyday. The sims of Wallalei have noticed this (how could you not?) and are growing irate. How come the mayor let this happen? What did he not do to preserve the precious business of downtown Wallalei? Sims are demanding answers, and jobs! If things don't change soon (and they mean soon!) Mayor Lopez may be moving out of his mansion. The former prominant skyline is now dominated by dilapidating skyscrapers. IMPORTANT: This may come as bad news, but I feel I have lied to you guys because I forgot to tell you that I use the perfect path finding mod. Some of you may consider that cheating, but to me it makes it much more realistic. I have also recently installed the industrial quadrupler because I was tired of having my cities dominated by industrial zones and still not providing enough I jobs for my sims. You have quite a talent for this. Awesome job man, I'm extremely impressed; I'll definitely keep my eye on your projects, especially since the quality will only go up with time. I really like the look of that Lippo BAT. I will be eagerly awaiting future development!

It's hard for me to sit here and bite my lip, not to flame certain members, but I will. I just have to say that Subedei: spoken like a true reactionary. I have a question to ask though...Jmuss you said you went to meet them as just a friend. But doesn't that go against what you believe? Or are you just hiding it because, apparently, his parents accept all people. (Yes that was sarcasm)

Soviet I understand your way of thinking about the pride parades/festivals. And like you said you're straight and you don't have a parade. The answer to that is very simple. We as heterosexuals are the norm. We don't need to have a pride parade like zelgadis said, because we're already accepted. We really don't have a reason to have a parade, it's just expected to be straight.

I see Dereko knows his US History. Emmett Till is a good example of society being so disgusting.

You know I must say I'm not shocked that that happened (blame the media for my de-sensitization) but it angers me that people are still that much in the cave. And I am willing to bet that even if you had gone to the school board or something like that, you wouldn't have had much of a chance, because, at least in my area, the adult is always right, and did anyone else witness her say that to you? I think the schoolboard would just blow it off as something ridiculous like extortion. But as you said, I think you are a better person for having gone through that, and that which does not kill us makes us stronger. I personally think she will think of that moment every day of her life, and if not she will when she dies and has to be judged by her maker.

Hey I was just wondering if any of you teenagers have some sort of a gay club at your school? I go to a campus with three high schools on one plot of land, and we have the GSA (gay straight alliance) and seeing that this is America, it gets a lot of heat. I for one don't have a problem with it, I mean seeing as I don't have to participate in it if I don't want to. It's a pretty small group with only a few dozen members (to my knowledge at least) but there are going to be 6,000 students next year and I really wonder how many of them are gay/bi. One thing that really upsets me is that some teachers have tiny rainbow stickers that let students know it is a gay safe zone meaning that the students can talk to the teachers and feel safe. To me that's just pathetic because only some teachers have that, and it just seems to separate the teachers, I mean if you don't have the rainbow on your door, are people going to think you are a homphobe? Don't misunderstand why I'm upset with this, I fully support the idea of students being able to talk with teachers, but I think that students should be able to talk to any teacher, not just the gay safe ones. Don't you?

REACHING FOR THE SKY The rennovation of Downtown Wallalei has been immensely successful. The former bland and unimpressive skyline has been transformed to the new commercial powerhouse of Copacorales. The city's Central Business District has been restored to its former glory, with new construction all over downtown. The population is flirting with 200,000 sims; part of the cause of such growth in the CBD. The new skyscrapers are much more impressive, and taller than before. The elated sims have given their mayor a nearly 100% approval rating. Here's a new view of Wallalei. Mitsubishi has constructed their Crystal Mall and now they call Wallalei home. As you can see, Larus plaza is under construction on the same block. You'll also notice the e2i Trade Center dominating the central area of this picture with the RLS Executive Tower rising majestically behind it. This is the new city of Wallalei. The commercial development has stretched west with a few massive skyscrapers, noteably the Kali Knight Conference Center and Yelluzha Technologies. The new beachfront development housing. These residential towers are located a minute's walk from the newly moved minor league stadium. All seems well in the city, although trouble may be ahead... There has been a leak of information from the Mayor's office; unconfirmed reports that the city is losing funds at a rate of 3-7 thousand simoleons a month. The validity of these statements have not been confirmed either. Stay tuned for further updates of Wallalei and Copacorales! Comments, suggestions?

Subedei you have a point, but in all honesty I think the only thread that truly needs to be closed is the Picture thread. Other than that I don't see why this would be inappropriate. ZELGADIS:OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY. Yeah, that post about the lesbians is what threw me off. My apologies, I feel like a total, well you can guess.

Um OK I don't want to sound overtly stupid, but Zelgadis I thought you said you were a lesbian, but you're getting married to your boyfriend? About the transgender issue; I watched a show on Discovery Health Channel about this issue and they believe (with evidence that supports this) that the male brain and the female brain have characteristics that set them apart. So instead of having an asexual brain, your brain is supposed to be different from the opposite sex. They found that the transgender people believe that they are actually the opposite sex because they have that brain; a male with a female brain, visa versa. That's my two cents.

Oh man, what an awesome surprise! Your work looks excellent, very thought out, modern, and very creative. I love those designs, they look so great, I can't wait until you release them! I must say that I really like that lego tower, I sincerely hope you will create that after this fine project. I like how you seem to have blended designs from different buildings and made them one, it looks excellent. Good luck, and keep up the great work!

GLENNI: I didn't demolish too many generic buildings, just mainly Double Tree Hotel and Sheraton Four Points hotel and a few others because I have at least 10 of each, which is just ridiculous and annoying. Update coming sometime later today! SORRY GUYS! I CAN'T UPDATE TODAY BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME. I WILL UPDATE TOMORROW FOR SURE, BUT BECAUSE I CAN'T ACCESS THE INTERNET FROM MY COMPUTER I HAVE TO TRANSFER THE PICTURES FROM THERE TO THIS COMPUTER, AND IT'S NOT WANTING TO LET ME DO THAT.

I really only have one thing to say, and that is that I'm surprised to find out that some of you are gay (it's not a bad thing, just surprise). Other than that I don't really have any words of advice? But I was wondering if you guys have lost friends because you came out? Oh, and can any of you make really good pierogies?

Thanks again for the comments guys. I don't believe in cheating, it ruins everything for me personally. I don't plop down skyscrapers because to me that is cheating. As to my budget. I usually run into problems when I start out, but as the game goes on I keep a high tax rate until I have nothing else to spend my money on (that usually happens once I get past 200,000 simoleons) and then I lower the taxes untill I see fit. So in a way, I'm pretty stingy with my taxes, but I make sure to give my sims what they want and need. I haven't played the game yet today, and I don't think I will tonight, so look for an update tomorrow.

OH man I want that building REAL bad. Great job to all of ISAT members, you're quickly rising to the top of my favorite BATs. Everything is looking good, I will definitely be looking forward to more!

Those would be the art deco hotels by Deadwoods (as mentioned above) and I'm sure you all know the palm trees are by n7 and the modified lots by kurtangletn. Thank you all for the comments, they are greatly appreciated! About a region shot: I have only done a minor amount of terraforming, and I don't have any large cities on my map, so I think I may start a new one and just import the cities I've already made. Nardo: I do have some slums, just not in Wallalei. There are some tenenments, but not many. I have made a few suburbs near the edge of my map, I would like to show some other cities soon, I just don't know when I will update right now. My computer is being really weird and will not let me do anything with the internet, so I may have to transfer my pictures to this computer to update.
