Hello, I have a question to the people for whom Simcity 4 runs smoothly on modern builds. Does the game run in software or hardware mode? It runs in Software mode for me. It looks nice, but it's slow. Scrolling through city and zooming causes huge fps drops. I tried changing rules files, but the game always starts in software mode for me. I assume it means it still doesn't recognize my gpu? I use Lenovo y550 laptop with core 2 duo t6600 and geforce gt 240m.
