most of my cities don't have much industry... but remember also many of the cities you see in CJs were built by using cheats. A city in SC4 doesnt always need industry, but one of the neighboring cities should have. So more or less as long as a neighbor has industry your sims can commute to that city to go to work. take care,

Well I am Norwegian so, here I go; 1. We all migrate to the meditereanean each winter. 2. Once we get there we drink hard and make a lot of trouble. 3. We all travel to either Sweden or Denmark to buy Alcohol and Smokes. 4. We are lazy now, because we have become so rich. 5. We have lots of money. ---- 1. Well a lot of people move there when they are old. Geez they even have towns in Spain where Norwegian is the main language. BUT not all travel there each year, I my self have never been south of Austria. 2. Well I guess the part about drinking hard is true, but I don't think we are the only ppl making trouble. 3. True, well not all the time but probably every Norwegian have been either to Denmark or Sweden (or maby even England)once to buy alcohol and Smokes. 4. Most Norwegians are actually hard workers, and it's the Norwegian workforce that makes us so rich not only the oil and gas money. 5. King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, has annouced that he will use around 30 billion dollars to form the city that he means will become the new financial capital of the world. The city, called KAEC, will become 3 times larger than Manhattan (in size, not in pop) with luxury apartments for 2 million people, and 1 million industrial workers. KAEC will be one of 6 cities planned to be built in Saudi Arabia, to strengthen its international position in an area of 168 million sq Meters. To those who say cold is better, then come to Norway in the winter and experience cold before you go around saying what's best! I don't even want to start about how much worse it is to be cold, than being warm. Here is another thought: If you just drink enough water in the heat, you'll be fine. This isn't possible in the game. Limitations to the game (hard coded I guess). But you could create a building block of several buildings, and give them different types of use I guess. take care,

SimFox: well I am sorry I twisted your nipples, I guess the photo could be manipulated, but the originator said it wasn't so I guess I wanted to believe that. It still is a crazy good looking picture though and it shows Shanghai by night. I would love if you could show us where and how it was manipulated, and why it is so obvious though. Well I used the map to try to find the location with Google Earth... This is what I found in the area that seems to be under construction; From quite a distance you can see that there is something going on in the area... A little closer look at some of what might be KAEC in the future... Some apartments are already finished... A couple of Kilometers away towards the south (towards Jeddah) there seems to be a lot of construction too... Amerikaner: I think thats exactly what they are trying to prepare for. Mulefisk: well, from what I could see from GE, there will probably be a lot of sprawl here too. I know it does seem kind of stupid. when will they realize that in time sprawl will become a menace. Also, the already existing city of Jeddah with about 200,000 inhabitants seems to be getting a lot of construction to the north-northwest. Probably an area for middle class ppl, and workers. take care,
