i was having some trouble with Age of Empires II the conquers yesterday, and i did a chat support with a microsoft support guy, and when i asked him if they were releasing Age of Empires III he said yes, but they don't have an official release date.

try reinstalling your plugins, did you back up your program files and my documents plugins, try using datgen, in the expemplar folder there are some files that say what buildings are being used in the city, use that to find those files in a plugin backup, and find some on the stex, this might make it so some, or all of the cities are stable enough to work on and find other files.

i finaly got age of empires III for chritmas (i used my bros copy to play before), now i can get one ESO, my favorite Civ is ottos, becuase of free villies, good rush (most powerful in the game), abus gun, and the great bombard, i played a multi game and won with my bro on my side, but becuase of the bugs i didn't get my xp, i should be lvl 3, the ottos and french are said to be the most powerful in the game, the french unique unit, the curassier is the most powerful cavalry in the game. the only problem on my game is that a have crappy radeon 9200SE

there already is a mod for that, the superdemand ordinacne in the Modding Files

thats a good idea, but it would be nice to have digital form, where you can download maps, and scan maps without printing and edit them, that would save some time, and save money.
