It might be possible once offline mode comes along.

I miss the scenarios they used to give you.

The game is supposed to update through origin, I think.

I see no problem with people who purchased SimCity downloading it from other places if they dislike Origin or Origin stops working/ want to be able to play the game without having to connect to the internet later to login to Origin (does Origin have an offline mode? I know Steam does.).

I'd like to see some sort of region maker, if terraforming in game is out of the question.

Welp. I said some things along the lines of "I won't touch this game any further until it gets an offline mode" last year. I guess I'll be buying it sometime.

What is Demon's/Dark Souls? Not true! If that was the case F-Zero GX would have sold more than 500k worldwide. Eternal Darkness being a good game failed to sell 250k worldwide. Xenoblade Chronicles failed to sell well in all three major markets. Bayonetta struggled to sell beyond 100k worldwide On the other hand: Aliens Colonial Marines sold over 600k in March in the U.S. despite being a horrible game with horrible reviews (it is close to 1M in the U.S.) If people wanted a game that allowed for full micromanagement, they would have bought Simcity 4 hand over fist. Sadly that was not the case, because Simcity 4 has sold about 2 million total to date, which is about the same as Simcity 1 on the PC. I think it's a bigger problem that sales of that much aren't considered satisfactory or are considered unprofitable. Maybe some fat needs to be trimmed?

With Fraps it would be advisable to put it through a video editor of some kind even if you aren't cutting up the video, simply because the videos it spits out are huge, and would be impractical for uploading.

For something dead simple to use, I'd suggest Fraps. It even lets you record your microphone along with the sound of the game these days.
