    Here is something compact Zimmie:
  2. Lighting up a object in G-Max.

Looks good - the props make it really realistic. The only thing I would say is the platforms look a bit too narrow and the stairwells creat chokepoints for passengers on the platforms and especially in the middle of the concourse. Other than that though it is a great pragmatic style for a suburban station.
  3. Thanks for commenting Yes I probably should add some bus stations in. As for connecting the roads up the problem is that sims will drive to the parking garage even if they are in walking distance. For instance compare both sides of the subway plaza station in the second picture. Basically all sims are driving to the station on the east side when they are clearly in walking distance as the west side demonstrates. It certainly is possible to drive across both sides. I'll add another screenshot to demonstrate. Ultimately I think the problem is that wealthy sims prefer to drive than walk even if it is half a block but if the pathway for driving is just long enough then they will walk. As for the avenue intersection I assume you mean the roundabout centre sculptures. The lots are called Mattb325 Roundabout Filler & Plaza https://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2591

  5. Hello all This is my first attempt at showing off the best of my cities. This is from an inner city terrace townhouse suburb that is almost equivalent to medium density in Sim City 4. As you can see from the snapshots below I planted subway stations in the middle of my suburbs with roads on either sides adjacent to the stations that do not connect. This allows sims to walk to or through the stations but not drive through the low capacity roads to take short cuts. I know the NAM helps with this but I find it doesn't go quite far enough. The end result here are suburbs with almost no traffic problems and low air pollution and happy sims. As you can see in the centre here the 9 square subway plaza has 3 separate roads that connect allowing sims to walk from the west side and to drive to the east side carpark and catch the train. Sims can still drive to the main artery which is the avenue on the South East side. The route might just be slightly longer then taking a short cut through the middle of the suburb. Thanks go to Mattb235 who created and uploaded so many of the models and mod packs used to build this city Below shows the traffic routes. Now its not that apparent here but sims do actually walk through the station to work at the commercial centre on the East side Below shows the same idea using a single tile subway station in a lower density area. I was hoping to get away without needing a subway but 2 stations ended up removing close to 1000 cars which reduced traffic congestion significantly on intersections. But again traffic cannot shortcut from the low density suburb on the East over to the higher density on the West and congest roads there. The commuter pathways The end result is that almost all commuters use the subway system and the major avenue (running East/West here) to the city has low congestion
