That's normal, if you wish to have a beach, just use the Soften tool. -

District of Wenzel | Update 116 - (Ouisconsin County) Morgan Town: Rival to the South

Might i suggest using FAR or using the 45° or 90° pieces on your Roads, Rail and/or Highways. (FAR does a 14.5° turn if i remember correct?) Your city is really nice! -
I'd suggest either flattening some town centre's next to the bay and/or using a slope mod (not completely sure if you're using one) But other than my suggestion, i really like the way your region's looking, I can't wait to see a metropolis if you make one

I always love seeing updates in rural areas. (Not because i live in a somewhat rural/urban area) Is the Maxis highway glitch (the one caused by the the texture mod) always happen? D: -
Ooh. The list seems to have become more volatile lately, No more Schulmania as #1?

More about the trams / GLR & rail will be in an upcoming update for my CJ.

@randomuser2349; Thank you @bluthlucidity; Yes It's a really good map to use for a sprawling metropolis (and to also edit in some of your own things too) @BIWDC; Thank you @Evillions; Not to worry, they've all been moved out to the farms & open space, to make room for some shops & commerce I've been slightly busy fixing up some of the regional area's of Cambridge, Including a new Regional city & suburbs, Small towns along the vast roads around the forests of Southern area of Regional Cambridge & Mountains. About 74 KM away from Cambridge Metropolis Area, Mt Beauty is a great area to escape from the city and enjoy a day in the snow! During Heavy snow seasons, the roads are closed to Mt Beauty. Click the image to view full size (800KB) Can you guess how many towns are in the regional area of Cambridge? Thanks for viewing

Welcome back guys, I've got a small update, but a big one will come soon In the town of Riversbend, Rougly around 58KM north of the CBD, (Which of the Suburbs aren't fully complete in planning as of yet. The town is serviced by an old highway (Which currently acts as the terminal of the current highway out of New Cambridge (Again, this hasn't actually been complete as of yet) This town also has its own Power supply (due to it's location and price of power lines from the City) Riversbend Town Centre. The shire of Riversbend also reaches to the western suburban edge of Cambridge. Which, the farms are currently being bought out to bring in the new suburbs. And a little preview of the area's i've currently completed (farms etc are to be done over time, as they can sometimes be Time & CPU consuming) #Fact: New Cambridge currently supports up to 10 rail lines, 7 Tram lines & 2 subway lines. And there's more to be built in the future!

Combined use of commercial buildings, Having a subway station in the building, or Elevated rail. Or shops inside of the airports.

Simtropolis is SLOW and doesn't respond correctly

Since Simcity 2013 announcement, there's been a huge increase of traffic, and the servers can't handle it. -
I know, but if i get my hopes down, then when the release is up and the graphics are 100000x better than this, i'll be happy.
-
Looks too childish to me.
-
Calm down guys, You've misread the way it's written. It's not "Online Only" It's the first time Simcity has had a full multiplayer option, EG/ Optionally Playing online or offline.
-
@Liberater444; It is on mac. https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/topic/48235-simcity-5-facts/

I'd say they'll have a friends sort of system / whitelist.

http://au.ign.com/videos/2012/02/29/ea-game-changers The announcement begins in around 2 minutes.

Welcome back to New Cambridge, After a week or two of restoring everything, i was able to expand the city abit and add a new Commercial District in (currently) the most western suburb of cambridge. This district currently has around 10,000 - 15,000 people hired, with many of them travelling from the western suburbs. Plans for this area are to expand & build a more influential High tech area in the district to fill the missing industry that was opposed in the city centre. Teaser; Recently, Cambridge Opened it's first heavy rail line, within the first week, there was 10,000+ people riding the train to and from the western suburbs into the city. While the Rail was opened, the Northern light rail / Tram line opened to the inside northern suburbs, Commercial district & Tourist attractions. As the transit systems are slowly expanding and evolving, the residents are rapidly moving out of the city and into the suburbs, as of this, There has been a total Re-plan of the transport system (Including, the possibility of having the subway link to the suburbs via a metro system) Thanks for reading, Have a great day

1. The Ability to name landmarks (Including, Certain Skyscrapers) 2. Possibly a DB inside the simcity 5 engine, allowing modders to add extra tables for Custom content EG/ Brand new types of Networks and/or ability to edit said DB to change the way such transport engines work. 3. Ability to walk around the city and see the city from the perspective of the citizens from the sprawl 4. Have an option to see the skyline of the city from the suburbs?

Sorry guys, an unfortunate turn of events has occurred, and i'm in the middle of backing everything i can to discs. The only help i've been offered is to reformat my laptop as it's corrupted many windows 7 system files. If everything restores according to plan, i'll have an update for you all within the week.

Oh my, that building is superb. Fits in very well. +1

Yes, it works the same as EL-Rail over road. I can't recall where exactly i got the exact one in my picture, but i found one i have a link to still. SFBT Rail Viaduct Station EDIT: I lurked google for abit, and found it here.

@Wraner; Why thank you New Cambridge, currently having expanded largely from the newly built public transport system (Boasting Trams, Buses, Elevated Heavy Rail & Subway (Inner city area)) The city is based upon waterfront Development, hosting 80% of the jobs near the waterfront (or within walking distance to a tram to the waterfront) Rail is only accessible from Cambridge central (also has a tram & bus stop) which serves Cambridge Police Station, Fire station & Town Hall. | And to the East, Cambridge's growing suburbs have views of the mountains to the south east, Bay to the north & a man made river in the central area of Cambridge East (To Serve as a way to disperse water from the roads to the bay) New Cambridge's Population forecast (August-September 2012): 700,00 - 1M
