Can you forcibly bankrupt a neighboring city?
honam1021 replied to infoman96's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
1. Open a neighboring oil/coal city 2. Wait for a few days(Real life time), until all resources are extracted 3. Wait until the city doesn't have anything to export 4. ??? 5. Profit! -
After updating to 4.0, the game worked once before I update the nvidia drivers to 320.18.Now when I click "play" in the launcher, it disappears without the game window, but you can still see the game running in task manager. Does anyone have the same issue? UPDATE:I changed to another server, the problem is gone. It appears that it's a connection issue.

honam1021 replied to jackn151's topic in SimCity (2013) Technical Help Q&A
As long as it's faster than a 2.0 GHz C2D it's fine. For example a 1.7 GHz i3 -
Patch 3.0 released
honam1021 replied to Rufus Honker IV's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
I believe they want to discourage people to create lots of ground pollution and fix it later Also noticed that the game's fps has improved after this update -
Agreed, anything above the sci-fi casion will not make profit if there's aren't any med/high wealth tourists I believe there are more than enough jobs, most commercial buildings complain about no workers

I claimed a abandoned city on the test server, it's a small city with 3 bonds taken out(25000 each), lots of crimes and no police. I managed to pay back the bonds and solved the crime issues, then I turned it into a gambling city. This is the time which bigger issues start to raise. 1. Every wealth level of sims (including $$$) complains about no money, hundreds of homeless on the streets, and there's over 20 buildings abandoned in 15 minutes (Real life time, all of them are low wealth), this is much worse than any other city that I have played with. 2. I plopped a sci-fi casino, I made about $45000 per day (in-game time), then it slowly falls until it runs into red. Later I noticed that the mid wealth tourists from trains and ferries are not travelling to the casinos, thus I keep losing money every hour. Is there a way to save my city?

Help me to fix the traffic issues
honam1021 replied to honam1021's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
If you look at the pictures carefully there's a trade port with rail road access near the city borders. The problem is that the goods can't reach the port. It's fine before I start the construction of the arcology -
I have a big city but almost every road sector is congested and caused lots of trade delays. It's possible to fix it without bulldozing everything?

SC5 doesn't have BAT (Although EA might sell it as a dlc in the future). If you love modding SC4 with your own buildings, you might not like SC5

2.0 - Initial Observations
honam1021 replied to LGMizzell's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
It seems that 2.0 fixed the sound glitch Downside:You can no longer avoid air pollution by placing polluting buildings downwind, the pollution generated by your buildings will just come back on the another side of the city -

Four Fire Stations vs. One Large Fire Station
honam1021 replied to tnobles's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Yes, I've noticed that. Wonder if the same thing happens with more than one station? Regular industry can also have hazmat fires, but I wasn't planning on building an university, unless it makes me. Any industried can have hazmat fires, but it occurs on higher density build much more often than the lower ones -
