Legalize Medical Marijuana is an ordinance Positive effect : It will increase Health Quotient. It will also increase Education Quotient. Increase demand for CS$, CS$$ and I-Ag. Negative effect: Eventually lead to poor mayor rating. Overwhelming abundance of happiness for your sims! **Important note** Since there can only be 16 ordinances to be displayed in game, it will not be compatible with CPR ordinance It is, however, compatible with other ordinances that is not modifying CPR ordinance. more details are written in the ReadMe! including installation process! No Dependencies! -
What do you find is the most fun part of Simcity 4?
ucokmarucok replied to tkuelker's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
to me the most fun part of the game is.... seeing my sims going to work! trying to lower the commute time! (under 15 min) seeing the education going in 200, life expectancy in the 100s, residents average salary hitting the hundred thousands! WHILE at the same time, seeing growable residence/CO/CS that I just downloaded from ST/SC4Dev actually GROWS! AND look GOOD! I'm never at that point... but I'm trying that's why it's fun. -
well, I want it to be a 50% chance of increase in health and 50% chance in education but I don't know how to do that YET or whether it's possible or not. I believe this ordinance has a "hate it or love it" relationship. that's why only some states/country enact this ordinance in real world but not all. but I think for those who want it, they should have a chance to let their sims get "higher" creativity/education and health.

ok, I'm a lil bit confuse... so with the sc4tool, you can do transit network enabled. (both) but if you only want either (1) you need to tweak it from the ilive reader? is that correct?- 172 Replies

ok, I'm new in sim city. though I've played when the games came out. but I'm new in knowing that the game offers a lot of different things and complex so I'm just wondering about the crime. I noticed that when I opened the crime tabs... usually the building with potential crime will be colored in yellow, and depends on the crime factor it might be red. and more detail... sometimes they'll explain what type of crime is happening in the area perhaps fighting... throwing pie... car theft... drugs... flashing... and many other things. so my question is... what determines different act of crimes? and who determine that? is the game engine determine that? but in the ilive reader, there is only a crime points. and crime radius? (correct me if I'm wrong) and no crime types. (correct me if I'm wrong) it would be cool if we can mod what type of crime happen where. or more realistically, maybe we can introduced ordinances that effects types of crime instead of crime in general. it's not realistic that bus station increase pie throwing? it might increase car theft however. or you know the type of commercial buildings increases different types of crime. bar maybe increases flashing crime and fighting. but insurance company increases car theft? things like that. anybody have any comments? Ucok

Putting roads from a map into game
ucokmarucok replied to minussin's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
hm, the scale 1:250k is not descriptive enough. it could be 1 inch to 250k feet? 1 cm to 250k meter 1 cm to 250k miles 1 inch to 250k miles 1 cm to 250k km? which one? but to give you an idea let's take 1 inch to 250k meters example. so if the game, a square grid is 16 meters. to make 250k meters it will take 15,625 grid square in the game. to cover an inch of your map. so if you want to draw the 2 inch long road in the map, it would be 2 * 15, 625 square in the game. if it is 3 inch long road in the map it would be 3 * 15, 625 in the game. does this help? -
