  1. Wow, those are amazing. At this point it has little to do with what the original game was designed for, but that's the beauty of SC4. Do you have a City Journal or something that goes into further detail about this?
  2. I'll have a go. While all of the screenshots are modded cities, I only use mods that fix things or makes things more intuitive. Increased radius's for police stations, better pathfinding, bug fixes, etc. Graphically it's all the same though. I did however use run the game better and at a higher resolution than is possible in stock. I very much recommend it.
  3. How to get malls to build

    That's it. Earlier attempts didn't work because there wasn't enough demand, but making a mall area next to a large downtown city tile made several malls grow. So far I've seen Andrew's Fashion Centre, The Hsu Mall, Lee Shopping Mall and the Harris Galleria. All grow on 6x6 lots, but the Lee Mall grows on 5x6. This is going to be a great addition to my cities.
  4. How to get malls to build

    I was simply wondering if its even possible for malls to build naturally, or are they not in the game/cut content like the additional City Halls?
  5. I've read in a few places that malls are in SC4, but I've never seen any in my commercial areas. If it's not just a rumor or a mod, how do I get malls in my cities? Thanks in advance.
  6. Discussion about City Tile Size

    I think a large part of the city size is that it looks smaller than it really is. In SC4 you looked out into nothingness, but in SC there's all these unreachable parts of the region. The large dotted borderline makes this even worse. It makes everything look a lot smaller. I made a mockup on New York to show how a more transparent and thinner border makes it look much bigger.
  7. Wow, wouldn't have expected such pathfinding, especially after so many years and all the agent stuff. It shouldn't be impossible to fix in terms of complexity (modders did it for SC4), but it might be difficult to not have it memory intensive.
