My first substantial city, oddly enough they didn't seem to mind the nuclear meltdown. Just liked the view down this avenue

How many Simtropolis forum members does it take to change a light bulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs 1 to move it to the Lighting section 2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 5 to flame the spell checkers 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames 6 to argue over whether it's lightbulb or light bulb ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is lamp 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that light bulb is perfectly correct 19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum 11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum 36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty 7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs 4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group 13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add Me too 5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy 4 to say didn't we go through this already a short time ago? 13 to say do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again. -
Joint venture by stronghold guys (firefly) and the civ team (firaxis) Anyone else picked this up yet? I played through a few cities in the campaign last night and found it very enjoyable. It's basically a 'modern' version of the caeser games with a few little twists. It very much feels like simcity set in roman times, you build various differnt luxuries within a certain radius of peoples houses so that their houses upgrade an especially cool feature is when they upgrade to a certain level you can relocate them (stack) onto the top of shops (and possibly other buildings) who needs skyscrapers anyway . Anyone else played this and want to comment on it? Edit: Just searched and realised there was a thread a while ago...oh well it was before release.

1. That really cool bunny guy, who used to be an administrator...he's gotta come back preferrably as some sort of bunny-god type thing. -
We're on there, but the keywords are a little off. For simcity 4 we're on the second page though. Link to the page guys, with the text simcity 4 and if google spiders the link our ranking will go up (I think thats how google works right?)

Nintendo Revolution Revealed!
golfbunny replied to The boy formerly known as Evil Muzz's topic in Gaming Talk
No, i believe its sony. They got there console out early, and had a lot more adoption in Japan -
Just thought I'd point out that the nintendo revolution is backwards compatible with NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube...i'd buy it just for that. and if you look at http://www.e3insider.com/photos/fullSize/PS3%20-%20vertical%20front.jpg you'll see that the controll ports seem to be standard usb?

It's quality not quantity of servers. 2 nicely run well administrated servers will run better thant 5 or so run by kids at a sim site hosting company. -

This service is much better...like imageshack, except faster! quote> You think a couple of kids on a cheap/free hosting plan is going to be faster than imageshack? -
Date: 4/27/2005 10:13:25 PM Author: DragonAnime Another reason why I won't buy one is because kids at my school would really kill to get one. They would probaly try to steal one, and it being so small it could be easily stolen. I don't know about everyone else if they fill this way about the PSP.quote> ...i worry about you? Surely then you cant buy anything small...like a mobile phone. My mobile cost over a grand and i still carry it around. People complaining about psp's breaking easily annoy me...throw a ds at a wall and im sure it'll break just as much as the PSP.
