I think its encouraging to see these patches.. If you look at it optimistically, this game can only go up in quality from here! (I hope)

Maxis: Could we have built a subset offline mode? Yes.
Idonoghue commented on Klyte45's article in News
Well, they did say they are going to stick with this game and make it better. So many EA games are abandoned at launch with a host of bugs. Even already they have improved a whole lot since launch. Sure they did kinda lie about the online feature's integration but I don't think that really changes the mechanics of the actual game. From here this game can only go up... I hope so at least. -
I was stupid enough to actually trust in EA to respect the SimCity title and deliver it appropriately. I was so hyped with this game but decided to hold off for the first few days after release due to the Diablos warnings I heard about on here. So glad I did... Now I'm hyped again! Within a week some modder out there has proven this new Simcity can have its gameplay changed radically through modding. Now, if, or most likely when, EA either goes under or just gives up on this SC we can all pick it up on the web a lot cheaper than $60 and play it on the privacy of our own PC's... At least that's what I'll be doing.

4th Day going green
Idonoghue commented on MrAngryBates's City Journal Entry in East River Region (SC2013)
I bet you anything these new SC2013 journals (especially the really good ones like yours) support the idea of SimCity 2013 more than any article Maxis or EA could publish... They should pay you. -
I think its good that this new SC has come. We all had been wishing and hoping for a new decent city simulation game from Maxis and now that we have it we realize just how lucky we are to have what we have; our precious, unreplacable SC4. No more will we bitterly wish for nine more years that Maxis might, just might come with another game. We can all R.I.P. now. I, for one, cannot wait for this new SC rendition. And I'll definitely buy it if I can scrape up the $80.

Come on people, we're jumping to conclusions. First off, if you read anything about the new SimCity it is anything but lacking in details... Its probably the most detailed one yet when you look at its simulation capability. If they're even remotely able to put that on a moblie platform, kudos to them. The fact that they might make another mobile Simcity is encouraging to me, it shows that maxis is at least trying to make Simcity a better game on all platforms. Who knows maybe this mobile game will be better than the previous one, which wont be hard to do (believe me). Yes this simcity probably wont live up to what SC4 was to us when it came out, I mean making something better than SC4 in a 3D game is not an easy task at all. Maxis isnt the only group that has attempted it as we all know. When you step back and just look at all the confirmed features in the new Simcity and only compare it to the other fully 3D, city-simulating games out there, it has a pretty great potential.

It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Herbert

'Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World' used to be my favorite movie as a kid -
Granted. However, Fluttershy's shyness magically flutters away at her first sight of you, leaving her and angry monster of a pony who ends up trampling you to death and forever rampaging the forest, dooming any forest creature she meets with a slow, torturous death. I wish for Simcity 2013 to be PERFECT!!!

Please... continue the story. This has been the awesomest CJ I've ever read.

Dude... this is probably a stupid question but how did you manage to take a picture of lightning?!?!

Yep... If Simtropolis closed for 12 HOURS in protest then yea I am. The next person loves emoticons!!!

Granted: Better sound quality but they only play Justin Bieber. Enjoy! I wish I was born January 1, 3000 C.E.

Granted: But it was secretly a bomb sent by radical PETA people. It blew up upon arrival, creating a black hole beyond all proportion which knocked you into my alternate reality of Justin Biebers and also, ironically, turned you into Justin Bieber. I wish I would have read the forum game rules before posting earlier.

Yea, both hands also learned that it actually is something called to many plugins!!! Now I prefer Simcity with little to no plugins...

Granted: Unfortunately all the hints are about how to curdle milk. After succesfully following the hints you discover your severely lactose intolerant... Ouch I wish I had my own alternate reality.
