  1. Gotham County

This region is great. Lots of flatspace for big cities, and lots of waterways 10/10!
  2. OK, so after a four day marathon reading session, catching up on everything that has happened while I'm supposed to be paying attention in class, and all I can say is ... awesome. The saga of Franklin County has certainly kept me entertained for the past several days, and I hope it continues to do so far into the future! Long live the Executive!
  3. MySim can't get to work

Thats the most interesting thing about the MySims complaining, my commercial and industrial zones don't dilapidate. It seems to be a problem with the MySims only. Oh well, I've been meaning to install NAM and CAM anyway
  4. Is there any way to mod the game to let you create a trash deal from a seaport (ala SC3000)? I often find that it is somewhat difficult to create small islands that line up, allowing you to build bridges between two cities across water. Plus, the seaport option is pretty realistic, a lot of cities ship their garbage out on barges.
  5. MySim can't get to work

I have this same MySim problem. Often their job (according to the MySim bar at the bottom of the screen) will be within walking distance from their house, and they still complain about losing their job because of the commute. I've always just chalked it up to some kind of glitch and deleted the MySim. Is there some other explanation?
  6. Earliest SimCity Series Memory...

My first sim city was SimCity 2000. I remember using the PORNTIPSGUZZARDO cheat to get huge amounts of money to build crazy cities (I was like 5.) I also remember those wacky SimCity 2000 advisors, including such characters as: Traffic Beard-Weenie:
  7. Most Annoying Advisor?

Definitely transportation...I don't care if I don't have enough streets for your liking! If I did, none of my residents could get to work! Speaking of transportation advisors: perhaps a little off-topic but does anyone remember what happened in SC2000 when you cut your traffic budget and beard-weenie's comment was: "YOU CAN'T CUT BACK ON FUNDING! YOU WILL REGRET THIS!"
  8. A Suburban Sprawl

As a Madison resident I'm very happy about this journal. I see that you've added the light rail system that we'll never actually have ;)
