RESPONSES To Fabiocb: Thanks man! To thatmonkeysim: I saw on a Baton Rouge map that an intersection of the Airline Hwy is an cloverleaf interchange...It's a four lane divided hwy with at-grade intersection with an exception (In US you call that Parkway? Like an Interstate freeway, but without limited access...) To TheJerseyDevil73 : Hey, great idea! But the comparison will be approximately... My version is an recreation, for exemple, the Airline hwy makes a 70 degrees with the East-West axle and mine makes 45

UPDATE SATELLITE VIEW + BROUSSARD, LA First, I would like to thanks Nardo69 and PhilsCafe for their comments! Thanks a lot! To Nardo69: I'll post a pic of this train station later! SATELLITE VIEW When I posted pics about some farmlands towns (St-Landry, Bayou Rouge, etc.) I forgot to turn on the city name on the region view. Here are the latest pics with city names...it's also easy to know where the city is... South-West part now finished! The transportation map...You will find the LA-1 that runs for a major part paralell to the Mississippi River, exept when it arrives on Addis-Mons and Broussard area. The interstate I-10 that runs straight and the LA-77 that splits with the LA-1 on the south of Addis-Mons and goes to the west to Grosse T

UPDATE ADDIS-MONS, LA Here are the pics of the second largest city in the Plaquemine Parish. This city was born by the merge of the town of Mons with Addis. The most important employeers are the Unical Petrochemical plant and the Baton Rouge Red Beer brewery... This is an general view...the old border between the two cities was materialised by the Port-Allen/Addis canal that preserve the area from floods. More general view, but at night. And the same at day...the city lies now between the LA-1 (four lane divided hwy) and the LA-77, and undivided four-lanes hwy. In 1997, the Louisiana commission of transportation decided to replace the old and dangerous LA-1/LA-77 by an trumpet interchange. Farmland scene west of the city, along the Cachin canal. A strech of the LA-1 became a strip mall... The Baton Rouge Red Beer brewery (BRRB, Inc.) that makes famous and refreshing beers (lager, cold filtered, peppermint...) The city center...with the City Hall. On the backfront, you can see visitors parking lot for the brewery... On the center-left of the image you can find the first Parish building build in 1788, but since 1832, the Parish seat is now in Plaquemine and on the opposite, the Lacours Arms, Addis-Mons tallest building. Municipal police station along an street (Cachin Street) and on the other side, the city library and the St-Bernard Church... Residential neighborood along Cachin Street. Thanks to read and see you, I hope, this weekend! PS: Baton Rouge Red Beer Brewery is fictionnal, so don't try to find these products on the Internet!!!

RESPONSES Thanks all! Some detailled pics about the western farming area will come soon! I've have downloaded a modd that kill these ugly Pedriana Plants that growed in every farm zones! Today I've planned to build the farmlands who seat along the LA-1... To MTLT_17: Thanks a lot! I want just to say that is a recreation of baton Rouge, not an exact replica. Btw, majors roads are approximatelly accurate. So, for your hotel, I think I didn't build it in the right place. I'll make a tour on Google Earth to be aware... To oroen: Did you say you cannot see the interchange? ... ... I'll repear this as fast as possible (with close-ups pics)... I'm pleased that you like my golfe courses! To aleking: my duck knows... One more time: Thanks to read!

For the eastern part of the metro area, the major roads are ready. I began to draw the street network in Greenway Place. The interchange between the I-12/US-61 is ready too... Bored by these suburbs, I decided to finish the western part of my region. Here is what I did between yesterday and today FAIRWOODS Just a suburb...strip malls, bedrooms communities...wide avenues... BATON ROUGE NOW AVAILABLE ON THE STEX ON THE MAP SECTION! You are invited to read the instruction before to download! No copyrights. Just say this map come from me! Have fun!
-
RESPONSES To GingerBlokey: Thanks! I'm very honored! It's not an exact replica, just a recreation. The map is not really accurate and some roads, particulary in the residential areas are fictionnal but based on real sprawl I saw on pictures on books or in the Internet. To Nardo69: Thanks! This refinery is better than the first I've posted here on the begining of this CJ. To ashwad: Merci! So, my map is not exactly on scale and it's a mix of two map I did: The problem is that you may find some problems because I used one map for the background for the land level and on it I pasted the water layout with some transformations...I must to see if I've saved this file...Stay tuned! Thanks to all for your comments!

By request from some members! The land level are accurate, so don't plane to build sunken highways! Some lakes need to be terraformed, but the majors waterways are alright, exept for the Port Allen channel you'll create...if you want. Stats: 8x9 large maps, so 32km by 36km or 20 miles by 23 miles! Caution: If you use a slope modd, you will have some problems when building bridge; you can't build'em with enought hight for boats, due to the low level of the terrain. No copyrights! If you want to modify this map and to post it later, just tell that the original come frome me. Have fun
