Wow! Thanks! I tried what you suggested, I put four road plops on the four corners and dragged the road through the middle and it worked like a charm.
  2. NAM General Support

Hi all. I've been playing SC4 for a few years now and this is the first time I've ran into a problem that I haven't been able to find a fix for. Usually when I run in a problem like this, someone already found the problem and subsequent fix for it (thanks for that by the way ). My game crashes every time I try to place a road under a highway with a toll booth nearby. Apparently though it's only happening if I have a bridge nearby because it works in a new city with no bridges. I've never had this issue before and I've even loaded a few older cities of mine and sure enough there are roads underneath highways right next to toll booths on the highway next to a bridge. I have SimCity 4 Deluxe, I have the most recent NAM download. I've attached three screen shots to help clarify what I mean....the first screenshot is my highway with road under it before I placed a toll booth. I had to remove the road to get the toll booth to plop (I've always found this to be the case) but then I try to place my road back under the highway, shown in my second screenshot, the moment I let go the game crashes to the desktop. My third screen shot is another location in the city that was set up a similar way before and it worked just fine. Has anyone heard of this issue before? I've searched the forum and can't find this issue listed already, if it is listed please point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help or tips! I was able to re-create the issue in an empty city as well with a city connection rather than a bridge...see my fourth screenshot...the game crashes when I try to place a road there as well.
