  1. A pill for longer life?

Hmmm....interesting. I wonder if it would work on humans. I don't volunteer.
  2. Funny Motivators/Demotivators

The humor in the WHARRBABL one is that it is so pointlessly irrelevant to anything that may be going on at the time you look at it.
  3. Brilliant construction awards

I found the revision cloud funny also. Our family is having an addition put on our house and I've been exploring our contractor's drawings, learning new things every day.
  4. Was the plane actually on the tarmac or just sitting dormant? That would clarify (at least for me) if the bees were lazy or just tired. Then again, maybe I'm missing the obvious because no one else is asking this question. Are bees actually smart enough to try to catch a ride on an aircraft?
  5. The most embarrassing song on your MP3 player

I don't listen to mine much (I usually hunt something down on youtube and play it in the background, Jumpthefence's idea) but I have a bunch of stuff that I accidentaly loaded onto it from my dad's account. The list goes on and on.
  6. low plane flyover freaks out New York

Did you say that the president didn't know about this?! It's one thing for the public not to know, but the president!?
  7. N Korea sentences US reporters to 12 years labor

I never even heard about this, what actually happened. It doesn't surprise me that NK wouldn't have a trial though.
  8. What's the population of your hometown?

My hometown would be Anchorage, Alaska, USA: pop. 275,043 people. Population of Alaska: pop. 648,818 The town I live in is Belchertown, Massachusetts, USA: pop.12,968 (2000) Population of Massachusetts: pop. 6,433,422
  9. Show us your hometown!

My hometown (if by hometown you mean birthplace), where I spent the first two years of my life, Anchorage, Alaska (I think everyone has a general idea of what this amazing city looks like, so I'll just supply a map). I lived north of down town across from Point MacKenzie inland of the the shipping yards just off the north side of the highway. This is where I live now, Belchertown MA. This view is standing on the town common looking southwest. This is my girlfriends church next to one of the billions of banks in our area.
  10. 20,000 Uses for a Sock Full of Spaghetti

320: a pizza cutter (if sharpened). 321: a very small and unreliable water craft (almost a safe as the Titanic, even though the Titanic was just an accident). 322: a trophy for a very deserving child.
  11. Nyhaven: Views From Within (AIN)

Well, I just spent half-an-hour looking through your city journal. I have to say that I'm quite amazed, watching the evolution of you city. keep it up.
  12. ST Trivia June 2009

Sounds like it was a good time, I was held and tortured at the same volleyball game Jumpthefence was talking about (lord those bleachers are uncomfterable). I might have gotten a few of those questions right (though not the first one, I know because I had a geography final today with that exact question on it and I found out later when I researched it and found out I got it wrong.) I hope that Jumpthefence is right and the next one is in December, I'd like to try to participate. I'm gonna go look at the rest of those questions.
  13. How do you feel about CXL so far?

It looks like it should be great when you pull it out of the box at around 10:30 at night the day after you convinced your mom to drive you to the store, when your so excited to try it and be able to be the first to brag about your average sized city that seemed big to you at the time. But who knows, after a couple of months you might get bored with only original content because people are still trying to figure out the new modeling programs, or the effects of the pretty graphics might start to wear off. My opinion that I'm going to go for it and see how it goes, roll with the punches, hope for the best.

Crossings are good, I agree with LivingInThePast.
